Hoffman Pottery is a cute little pottery shop located a little off the beaten path in scenic West Stockbridge. The beautiful shop and pleasant surroundings are on the same property where the artist lives and has her studio. The shop is filled with a beautiful, hand made selection of unique creations. This includes a colorful selection of serveware, mugs, and dinnerware in multiple styles and striking, idiosyncratic glazes. There are also garden items like frogs, toads, and garden stakes with fabulous faces. The artist is informative, friendly, delightful, helpful, and personable, often offering custom glazing. Items range from bowls, plates, pots, and holders at an array of prices. The pottery is dishwasher-safe. It is a fantastic local potter and is absolutely worth the stop and the trip.
They have an Airbnb there, and the pottery is beautiful and pretty, making it a usable piece of art. Elaine is very kind and helpful; she handmakes all of the pottery. I would highly recommend stopping by to take a look or support this local business.
