The pharmacists and techs at this particular CVS are extremely rude and uninformed. They do not even try to work with you at all and will not honor even the simplest requests with Rx transfers, etc. Their default is "we can't do that" or "our system doesn't allow us to do that"....well then why was my old CVS where I lived before able to do it? Short answer is they just don't care. I understand that CVS corporate is awful and many of these changes affect the staff, but I have used many other CVS pharmacies in other states I've lived that at least treated me like a human being.

Pharmacy - terrible customer service but not all their fault as CVS Corp seems to have put a new system in place where you can not call and speak to anyone in the pharmacy. I wasntrying to find out if the med prescribed was available before driving all over. I drove there for an RX for my dog. No one else was in line or any where near the pharmacy. The pharmacist repeatedly told me itll take 20 minutes and that they close at 8 pm (in case I missed the multiple signs or were just stupid, once would have been plenty and not annoying) so I told him I'd drive across the street to do a return and be right back. Not 5 minutes after I left, before getting into the store across the street I get a text the script is ready. I complete my return and go back to a line of three people each with their own issues so had to wait 15 minutes. I was curt but not impolite as the asst/tech/cashier rang me out, skipped allowing me to input my phone number to link to my CVS card and never bothered to ask for my card. I was tired, sore and my poor dog hadn't eaten because of the process this didn't have to be. I dont have to be all sunshine and roses when customer service is not good. I got told off by the next customer (not CVS' fault) while she stood there like I was the villain. Learn to do your job properly.

The people they have working there should not be working with the public. Rude rude rude. 1:25 is not 1:30 for lunch and I should not have been turned away from picking up my prescription at 1:25!!! Why they don't stagger lunch and NOT completely close is beyond me anyway.

Why does the West Springfield CVS keep locking their doors at 1130? You're suppose to be open until midnight. This is now the second time. Not like you're employees do much in this location as they're usually on their cell phones as you enter. And next time greet your customers and be nice. Not tell them you only 5 minutes to shop and that's it. As the very first thing. But then want to stare me down as I shop. Okay ? super unprofessional

I Just wanted to pick up a script that was already filled. We waited in the drive through from almost 15 minutes before someone waited on us!

The pharmacists are something else... My wife's been using this CVS for many years to get her prescriptions. She get's scolded every time she goes because she's not following whoever's whim of a command it is at that time. At one time she's able to use two prescription discount codes and the person is helpful and works with her to find the lowest price, the next time she goes the person reprimands her that she can only use one and won't try to anything else. Then she's scolded when she doesn't pick up an automatic prescription that she requested to be stopped as automatic a long time ago (as was requested by a CVS pharmacist to do!). She's told that she needs to call first before using a discount code to "speed things up and not make others wait". She would have, if they had listened beforehand to remove it from the automated re-ordering. They didn't call to even let her know that the automatic was ready, so when she calls to get the prescription they are upset because they had to send the automated ordered one back. They complain that the discount code isn't on file to be used, when it's clearly on file to be used ("oh there it is!"... yep). The "bed-side manners" of some pharmacists is rude, nasty, cold and irritable. Can't seem to win no matter how much she tries. I'm livid by the treatment, so, we'll be switching pharmacy's no matter how convenient this location is.

If I could give this place a negative star, I would. The pharmacy lies to it's customers, and they'll tell you they can't help you because they're going on break...after standing in line several minutes. They're rude and even nasty. I had an appointment for a vaccination and I still had to wait 45 minutes to get the shot. Avoid this CVS at all cost.
