Love this CVS, it's quick and easy to get my meds and lots of other stuff and it's open 24/7

On 4/24/24 I was cashing out at the pharmacy inside CVS (West Springfield MA, Elm ST), and a male employee wearing a bow tie was ringing me out at about 5PM. He demanded that I go to drop off instead in an harsh tone. I had just waited in a long line so I really didn’t want to go through all this again. I knew my scripts were ready because I had the texts to prove it. He had 1 prescription for me instead of the 3 I was picking up. He wouldn’t listen to me and insisted I needed to go to the drop off. He was behaving like guests on the show Jerry Springer. I refused to go to drop off because I was picking up. I had to pull out my phone and beg him to search my new married last name. Finally he looked under my new name and saw the other 2 prescriptions. He then demanded that I go to drop off to resolve the issue. The whole reason I needed the prescriptions is due to my car accident injuries. The insurance for the accident case is under my maiden name so I can’t change the name for that script. My physical therapist was right behind me in line which made it more embarrassing. I have never been treated so bad in a store in my life. People are getting prescriptions due to medical issues and personal hardships. It’s surprising how much customer service has really gone down hill in general the past few years. This experience was quite honestly beyond imagination. It’s impossible to fully articulate his tone, demeanor and overall abrupt manor in words.I’m shocked this employee is kept on staff. Based on how awful the interaction was, I’m quite positive I’m not the only person who has had this experience with him. CVS in general isn’t bad, but avoid the West Springfield MA (Elm St) location. Unfortunately this is not my first bad experience at this location but it is definitely the worst. This will push me to have my scripts sent elsewhere.

NOT a 24-hr store. Drove in at 5 am to find store doors closed with a lousy sign that the store won't open until 6 am. Sorry with a marker, barely visible.

Worst pharmacy register person ever. Evey week i come in with my federal ID to pick up my script and because I don't have a mass issued ID she won't except my FEDERAL ID. and we have to do the same dance every week where the manager comes in and tells her to take it. It's really annoying.

The pharmacy here is AWFUL! The pharmacist, Chris, was SO incredibly rude and unprofessional. They partial filled a script for me and didn't tell me, and he goes and tells me that I have to use my only refill to get the other 10 days worth of my blood thinner because THEY didn't have enough for a 30 day supply. He tells me, "You aren't getting charged for it anyways (but the insurance company is paying out over $1700), and I'm supposed to use my one and only refill to get the other 10 days worth. And when I asked for his name, HE HUNG UP ON ME! LIke I can't call back or drive over there and get his name. I'm filing a corporate complaint. 1000% should NOT have had my script filled here.

Wow! I went on to purchase a gift card and the self checkout was not working. I had an associate after trying several times to work the self checkout finally come to “help”. Heather wanted no parts of being there. She said it should work, you are doing something wrong. I asked if she should try and she said no that’s why it’s self checkout. I tried it again and it didn’t work. I was going to attempt to scan one more time and she aggressively snatched the gift card out of my hand and took it to the register. Come to find out she could do it either, the gift card was not good. I went to get another and went back to the register and she didn’t even acknowledge me. I then went to self check out again and finished my transaction. I’ve been in retail 20 years and I have never seen this kind of customer service. There was a firefighter in uniform and he was getting treated the same way and guess what, he was Hispanic as well. Not sure if it’s a racial thing or not but she needs to learn how to treat her customers. I know good help is tough to find these days but WTH is was unacceptable.

It’s so disgusting to get something in the freezer. It’s look like there’s mold in the freezer and the products are dirty as well. They need to do something about it. It’s gross ?

For more than 20 years looking for medication in this pharmacy, today I went to look for my diabetes medication and why was I missing 2 dollars 50? They didn't give me the medication and they got attitude when unfortunately I told them, my diabetes is 300 ?

I’ve never seen a CVS pharmacy so unkind to the customers and their community. Unlike all other CVS stores they didn’t even have a trash can outside of their store which explains why it is the dirtiest parking lot that I’ve ever seen for a pharmacy. They told me that I couldn’t use their bathroom around noon time. I worked for CVS for 5 years as a front store clerk and as a supervisor and we never denied ANYONE the bathroom. Put a trash can outside of your store or clean up the lot! BE KIND! WE ARE YOUR PAYCHECKS!! The humane thing to do is to let a person use the bathroom! Health and wellness!!!!

Went in to pick up some sunglasses on a busy Easter Sunday. A very sweet cashier named Cherish waited on me, not only offered to cut the tag off, but even polished them for me. It's tough enough to have to work on a holiday, and the added customer service is truly appreciated! Thank you Cherish!
