“Jones & Vining is NOT a retail shop, they are a Manufacturer of plastic Shoe Lasts used by shoe factories, in the manufacture of all types of Footwear, around the world. I worked there for 11 years, and it was/is a very good company to work for.”

“I took a drive here earlier today with my husband who was in the market for a new pair of sneakers/walking shoes. He can be a tough fit for any and all clothing because at 6'3" tall with a size 13 wide foot, things can be limited in stock. As it is, he has all his dress shirts made for him and he has had suits custom made to ensure an impeccable and comfortable fit.Lucky for him, the particular sneakers he was looking for were not only in stock here in his size but at a lower (factory outlet) price. The customer service was impeccable. A salesman named Hector assisted him and brought out not only the shoe he was looking for but a couple of other examples for Tom to try on and consider. For essentially what is an outlet store, this level of service seemed above and beyond and was greatly appreciated. The store also sells, lots of other New Balance sportswear for both men and women....leggings, sweats, jackets, gym wear, socks and even hats and gloves all under the New Balance label. As this is a "factory store" with lower prices, you cannot always count on finding the exact thing you are looking for and in your size. That said, there seemed to be a huge array of inventory of all kinds. There are some things sold here that are "factory" seconds but those are clearly marked. If not marked as such you can be assured they are first quality.New Balance is a local Massachusetts company so it is nice to give them our business. Many, although not all, New Balance shoes are manufactured in the United States and they employ many New Englanders amongst their 5 manufacturing sites in Massachusetts and Maine. This is a good new story from a good news company trying to do the right thing here in the USA.This store is a bit out of the way for us but I would definitely return. There is another outlet a bit closer to us in Brighton but for us, that means traipsing in and through the city and ending up in a potential parking nightmare. Here, there is plenty of easy and free parking and the store and its layout are large and easy to navigate.”

“I've driven by this shoe store for years. Today, I finally went in. From the exterior, the store gives off an old school vibe, one that hasn't been updated in quite some time, but it's the type of shoe store you went to as a kid, (those born in the 80's or prior) when the sales associate knew how to fit you to the proper shoe, they would size you first, then unlace, slip on and lace up the perfect shoe. As I walked in, I was greeted enthusiastically and provided with the best customer service. I felt like I just went back in time and I loved it. I was in the market for some new running sneakers. I walked out with 3 new pairs!! I could have gotten away with one, but the experience was so great, I decided to buy more. From now on, my hard-earned money will be spent at this local, family owned business. I highly recommend you check them out, and ask for Chris!”

“The store itself is LITERALLY a giant warehouse. It's ugly, and it's design brings forth a sense of wanting to get out as fast as possible. It also doesn't help that it's IMPOSSIBLY huge--the ceiling is like 300ft, I swear. The workers do their jobs, and they're polite. What more can you ask, really?”

“I've enjoyed a fantastic experience wearing and maintaining Alden Shoes for 40 or so years. The majority of Alden shoes that I own (many Cordovan) were purchased from Brooks Brothers, when Brooks Brothers put their label in Alden Shoes, and when Brooks Brothers amounted to something far more and far greater than the disaster that they are today. I've used Alden's refurbishing services, several times, and I've been very pleased with their service, although, I am disappointed to read about Dennis K's experience with Alden Shoes refurbishing services, and my guard/suspect is up, as a result of Dennis K's Yelp review. Alden shoes are hard to come by, since Brooks Brothers is nearly out of business. I've purchased a few pair from Mr. Sid, in Newton, MA, which was a great experience.”

“I had to return some shoes that I ordered online and therefore I hadn't tried them on. It was really quick and easy to return the sneakers and have the money back in my account.”

“Great deals , big selection and friendly helpful staff that truly care about your business and needs, unlike Dick’s Sporting Goods that don’t engage you , and just stare”

“Very professional and helpful and was a great experience. I get all my Redwing boots and accessories at the Brockton Massachusetts location but I wish they would bring back the heritage line. I had to go to another store for my iron rangers. I want a pair of blacksmiths and a pair of roughnecks but like I said they don't carry them. Bring back the heritage line.”

“Extremely happy with this company. Purchased my first pair of sandals/ flip flops after seeing them on Good Morning America. I walk over 6000 steps a day in these sandals with such comfort- never an issue with knee or back pain. Highly recommend!”

“I get to the 4 out of 5 in a min. First store is clean and well arranged. The staff was very polite and helpful. They where not over aggressive. I took my 14 year old daughter back to school shoe shopping. After 5 stores and repeated no s to shoes she finally found a pair in stock color and correct size. I was extremely happy knowing this was over. The gentleman went out back grabbed the shoes. I made her try on to make sure they fit as they where not inexpensive. Yet compared to another store who has same ones sho did not have her size it was 30 dollars less here. I went to register to pay. I was going to out on my credit card but this is my only issues. They do not accept credit cards. Also they do not offer a military or first responders discount. Knowing they where less expensive than other store i was still more surprised they did not offer the discount or take credit cards. So i luckily had enough cash on me bit decided to do half on my debit card and pay remainder in cash so i would still have cash on me. That is why they did not receive the fifth star. I am aware why some store do not accept credit cards because they have to wait for money snd also company is charged a percentage for use. Maybe thats the reason to keep costs down they only accept cash or debit. That is understandable but there should be a sign infront of store to tell you so your not surprised when you get to register. I am sure they have run into issues sith people not having enough cash or debit and wanting to use credit card. 2nd now a days a lot of stores offer a discount to military and first responders. Maybe the company should review that and hopefully add it so its an appreciation towards us who have served and are serving as well as first responders. That would give them the 5th star.”
