I can't rate the doctor because I never got to see him. The office assistant gets a zero. She will answer the phone, she will talk to you but she won't make you an appointment because she is too busy. She says she will call you back but she never does. This is no way to run a business and I will be taking mine elsewhere.

Dr. Donohue and staff treated and cared for my dog with an excellent outcome. Staff were friendly, attentive, thorough and clear with all consents, instructions and expectations in regard to all appointments, exams and procedures. Provided all needed medications and answered all questions. Clean environment promoting health safety. My pets tumor was removed in a timely manner with a positive outcome. Services are somewhat costly but everything is these days. Thank you Dr. Donohue and ladies.

Discriminatory experience - don't go. Dr. Donahue saw my cat today. When he came in to talk to me about the plan for care he took the seat across from me. As we talked it came up that I HAD COVID 4 months ago. He literally stood up immediately and backed away. w before he finished explaining the plan of care. I have never get so angry and little. While waiting for him to TYPE the notes he didn't give me verbally, I let the nurse & front desk know that what I just went through was absolutely not ok to discriminate against someone for a prior sickness or any sickness. I felt pressured to make another visit.

Dr Donahue is great and really knows his stuff he is definitely an Einstein in animal eye health and care but the only thing I don't care for is that he always has a turn over in help and secretary's and some of them have been lovely and some of them have been down right ignorant but it still dose not take away from you're animals eye health issues and I definitely do recommend him over anyone else we are very happy with his services and you will be to.

My older dog's eye wasn't fully opening after a corneal injury. Treatment from an urgent care vet and my regular vet had not resolved the issue. Dr. Donohue performed a quick surgery and prescribed medications. The six-week course of treatment was an ordeal (administering eye drops unpleasant for dog and owner) but the eye healed and the dog is back to regular activity. Without specialized care I doubt the eye would have improved. Staff is very pleasant and helpful.

While the experience was a bit nerve racking and I had little time to make a decision about my pets condition needing surgery, the overall experience went smoothly, professionally and my pet healed perfectly, and for that I am truly grateful!!

I've had to bring my dog twice now and he's not at spry or young anymore. But I wouldn't hesitate to bring him again. And they were booked but made the time to see him. Dallas only got upset when he knew he was staying but he gets upset I f I leave the room to go to the bathroom lol

In a rush to get our dog to feel better, unfortunately I did not read the reviews and what a mistake!!! I come here now and I see all the mistakes he made with us, this doctor already did with others. Our dog's eye is worse and when we brought him back Dr. tried to blame the dog "for scratching his eye" and wanted (on top of $2800 for one eye surgery) another $1300 to "fix" his mistakes. We are looking for another eye specialist because our dog's eye is worse than when we brought him to this doctor and he won't do anything if we don't pay him more money. Hopefully, you don't make the same mistake and read these reviews prior to make a decision!!!

I couldn't be happier with the care and attention my cat has received over the last year. I definitely recommend AES to everyone in need of a specialist, they are the best.

We brought our dog there for the first time and they were so helpful and accommodating. They’re very busy but called me back within a few hours and got me an earlier appointment, the next day. She went and is already seeing better with the right medicine and will return for a procedure soon. The staff and doctor were very nice and understanding especially to a dog who wasn’t on her best behavior! I would recommend this office to everyone!! Thank you

Dr. Donahue and his team (specifically Jill and Lauren) have taken really good care of our older Boston Terrier who has suffered from corneal ulcers. Our dog had to have emergency surgery recently to remove her eye and they were very accommodating. I was a frantic mess and Jill made me feel better about the whole situation and I really felt like she was extra attentive to our dog. We’ve had nothing but positive experiences with this group and I can’t thank them enough for helping our dog.

I have never met a more unprofessional, rude group of individuals that are supposed to be in the profession of caring for animals. This business is run like a circus and the people in charge cannot juggle and they take it out on you. Myself and my regular vet had to ask for two weeks to receive blood panel results that I paid for and Jill told them she had and then when I called she changed her mind and said she only had half. I had been told by Dr. Donahue these results could change the medication my kitten was taking so one would think I wouldn't be the only person wanting to get the results. When I took my kitten in it was for an exam not surgery yet he had to fast for 12 hours beforehand and sit in a cage all day. When I was called at 2:30 with the doctors findings I told him I would be driving in to get my kitten now. He became frantic and told me that I couldn't that he had other emergencies to tend to and that I might be able to pick him up at 5 or 6 PM! I told him that was too long that he hadn't eaten in a long time and to just email me the report when he could that would be fine. He then got upset and stated LET ME DO MY JOB! I will be taking my kitten elsewhere needless to say and I highly suggest you do the same with your fur child.
