“Doug is very attentive to reponding to emails and is a friendly man to do business with. I was interested in a stove for the past month and he provided me with all the information I needed to know. Thank you for all your hard work to make this antique stove shop succeed. I recommend doing business with him.”

“Based on a well placed radio ad on WFCC, I connected with the proprietor regarding a silver coin I had received as a gift. His assessment of its value and several phone conversations earned my trust and confidence. He is courteous, knowledgeable, and honest.”

“I've been going to this store since high school (1991), and have always found my treasures here. Through the years I've found a 1920s flapper dress, 1940s velvet winter coats, 60s white pleated skirt, 60s vintage/mod Hawaiian a-line dress, silk caftans from the 60s fjr swanning around the house, and yesterday, i found a beautiful 1940s flowered dress with silhouette from that era. The prices for vintage are slightly higher but totally worth it. Uta, the original owner, attaches tags describing the era of the piece adding a contextual feel for each piece. I always stop in here when visiting, and I still have many of the pieces I have bought from here, even 30 years later! I hope Uta and here forebears will keep this shop going in the same vein for many years to come. Hats cover the ceiling and many are truly vintage, all the way back to the early 1900s; also jewelry that is really stylish.”

“large shop; not much furniture and mostly "chachki" old things.... would not consider much of the items "antique" but there's a lot to look at; would consider most of the items to be low end and cheaper items; you need to look through in hopes to find something nice.”

“I stopped by Paul Madden Antiques on a whim. I am so glad I did! I found a beautiful vintage Nantucket Lightship Basket. Mr. Madden was great to talk with - he shared all the history he knew of the basket and I'm very happy with my purchase.”

“The building is so much larger than it looks, we couldn’t believe every corner we turned that there was more to be found! Both members of staff that I interacted with were incredibly friendly, I shipped a piece of artwork home to Utah and felt as if I was being taken care of like a regular (in the best way!). The selection is incredible! We also popped into a few other antique shops on Cape Cod and this was our fav.”

“I travelled down from Boston for a particular item - an English Barometer that I had seen online. Parke was extremely knowledgeable and helpful from our original phone call through to meeting him in person - it's clear that the shop is his passion. The shop itself is very quaint and has lots of interesting things. Extra bonus - they did a great drop wrapping the barometer into a travel-safe package. Could not be happier! Thanks!”
