The sports stop in Wenham has been providing quality service for decades. I dropped a pair of skis off for a tune up just last week and it was a fast turn around with excellent quality. There are not many local shops like this left and I really appreciate there continued dedication to the sport especially with such tough winters as this year.

When I called to see if they had the item/size I was looking for, the guy that spoke to me on the phone was friendly and helpful. When my husband and I went to the store a few days later with our son, SEVERAL employees were JUST PLAIN RUDE. Horrible customer service to the point that I just walked out. One employee was even yelling at my son.Lots of inventory but don’t expect good customer service from Wenham Sports Stop.

Just needed my skiis waxed and edged and Sports Stop was able to oblige. I picked my skiis up the next day, and the bases and edges were good as new. They had some stuff on sale, seeing that it was mid-season and got a nice pair if Helly Hansen pants for 50% off. Sweet. There were plenty of customers, and the place has been there for as long as I can remember (been on the NS for 30 yrs now) They're doing something right.

Excellent service. Headed to Antarctica and I hate winter gear. Took my concerns seriously and I ended up with perfect stuff that will keep me warm.

Stopped in for P-Tex & some repair gear for my board. Great selection of gear/apparel and insider knowledge - major thanks to Dawn, who provided some valuable insight on the local mountains & the roads. Will go here to look for gear before heading to a bigger box snow sports store.

We absolutely adore Sports Stop! My wife and I did a tennis racquet demo until we found the perfect sticks for each of us and the staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. We also picked up new pairs of shoes because they had a great sale, and again, the service was tremendous. My wife is an avid dogsledding and skijoring enthusiast and she was excited with their extensive winter sports selection. Perfect year-round store!This is 100% going to be our go-to tennis shop and it's worth the drive if you're anywhere in the Boston metro. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I took my skis in to get the bindings remounted for new boots. They mounted them too close together so the boot did not fit in the binding and in fact damaged the soles on my new boots when they were forced in. The skis kept falling off with each step up hill. I took the skis to a different shop which mounted them correctly for HALF the price they charged me here to break them. Very disappointing. I wouldn’t trust them to touch your skis if they have AT/tech bindings.

It’s so rare, these days, to actually have customer service that knows what they’re talking about. The staff here are so well-versed on tennis rackets and skis, have knowledgeably answered any questions I’ve had, and they’ve been generous with lending equipment to try for tennis (they have a great program for you to try out rackets so you find the one best-suited for you). So grateful for these folks

We have purchased skis, tennis rackets and more here over the past few years, but everytime we go in, I leave wondering why I shop here. Selection and prices are okay, but the sales people are consistently RUDE!! Will be taking our business elsewhere ?

I flew to Boston with skis for a week of skiing in Maine. Unfortunately, after arriving I realized that a ski binding had been destroyed in transit. After researching ski shops in the Northshore, I drove to the Sports Shop to try and get the binding repaired. I quickly learned that since the binding was integrated into the ski, the binding could not be repaired. Chris and Debbie of Super Sports ran through some options. They were never pushy. As I moved toward buying a replacement pair, Chris made some recommendations and I quickly settled on a new pair. They were so helpful getting the bindings attached to the skis so I could begin my vacation the same day. They even offered to send an email explaining the force necessary to damage/shear the binding from the ski so that I might be able to recover a damage claim from the airline. Great store and incredible team that works there.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service! Have spent thousands here over the years, but will never rent from here again! No customer loyalty whatsoever, and very rude.
