When I came back to pay, they first told me not to worry about it, but I insisted. This is very rare. I pump gas from this station at every opportunity. The customer service has not failed to be Excellent!”

“I’m usually not one to write reviews, but quality and honest work is something that is very hard to come by and deserves every ounce of recognition possible. My car has seen more than its fair share of cold and salty winters, so it was due for some brake work. I went elsewhere for quotes, namely some corporate auto shops…absurd up-selling, exaggeration of issues, and above all else astronomical quoting. As someone who is pretty knowledgable about cars, I could smell these corporate chains just going after the money…I brought my car to Ed’s as a work-in and within a couple of hours, I had all new rotors, pads, and even cleaned and regressed calipers that were frozen or sticking! The best of all was the price…nearly 1/3 that of what other places were trying to sell me. Needless to say, Ed’s will have both my girlfriend and I’s business for as long as we’re in the area. It’s not often you find an honest and reliable mechanic that you can wholeheartedly trust to only do what is necessary and not try to rob you of your money, but also to do so while being the friendliest of people. “I first started going to Groveland Auto when I moved to the area. My car dealership had just handed me a draft of things my car needed for about $10,000 ( when I had gone in for an oil change). I couldn’t believe it, so I got another opinion from Groveland Auto. We went through what my car needed urgently, what I should plan on needing soon and how long I planned on keeping my car. ( which the dealership never asked). Groveland Auto saved me about $7500 that day. I never looked back.Services: Tires”

“I had something going on with my car that other mechanics could not identify. I brought the car here in September and they were great. Not only were they able to fix the problem, they did it faster than the estimated time. They called when there was something that wasn't identified when I dropped the car off to be sure it was OK with me that they do the work. Everyone in the shop was friendly and knowledgeable. Fast forward to November 11th and one of my high beam lights was not working. My husband bought a bulb and tried to change it. Anyone who has a Subaru knows that it's not straight forward to change a bulb. So, I brought it to Route 114 Sunoco without an appointment on a Saturday and asked if they could get it fixed that day. I said I could leave the car. Kamil was wonderful! He came to my car and checked it out. He said he would do it while I waited. It was done so quickly and Kamil didn't charge me. That was more than a pleasant surprise.From this point, on Route 114 Sunoco is where I will bring my car for service! “Like everyone else's family, we live at an insane pace, shuttling kids all over planet Earth to events, sports, etc. we tend to postpone necessary car maintenance until it reaches crisis level. Our minivan was on the brink of disaster last Monday morning . My steering wheel was shaking so badly, I knew that I could not wait another minute to get repaired. Who do we all call to reverse the damage that our negligence causes? You know it: get JJ Gianakakis at John's Auto in Ipswich, Massachusetts on the phone! I knew my request was nearly impossible, but I told JJ my problem. He directed me to drop my van off immediately at his shop. Within an hour, JJ diagnosed a significant issue that could've been fatal. I needed new tires... like, three months ago! I figured that JJ would have my van in his shop for a couple of days, if not longer... but my pain was self-inflicted, so I would suffer the inconvenience of going without a vehicle to get my problems fixed by JJ. He moved mountains to get the four new tires. He also expertly repaired a heater problem I have been battling for more than a year. And to help me get my life in order, JJ quickly hooked me up with a long-overdue oil change. Within the span of 12 hours, JJ's wizardry got my car repaired and back on the road to hockey practice at 6:30 PM. How many business owners anticipate your needs? “I have stopped by this gas station several times on my way to various destinations on the North Shore and to New Hampshire as well. It is a great full service station with more than enough pumps so it is usually a very quick in and out when I am there. I noticed some used cars for sale there so I can see that they also do auto sales there. The place is always well lit at night and the gas attendants there are always friendly and efficient. Their prices on gas are some of the lowest around. They are open until late at night which makes it convenient. Out of all of the gas stations on the North side of Route 1 this is definitely my gas station of choice.”

“I never give reviews but this one seems necessary. I stopped by this business to see if I could get some assistance with a spare tire. This guy was walking out of the office, I flagged him down to ask if he could help reattach my spare tire since the riser cable was stuck. Without hesitation this kid crawled under my truck on asphalt hotter than the devil himself and had me back on the road in minutes, wouldnt let me pay, said it was courtesy. “I stopped here to use the bathroom and when I came out I saw a doppelganger of my half brother and sisters father. He looks so much like him that I started to call out his name and realized that he wasn't turning around. I thought maybe he was going deaf. It turns out it wasn't him. I left before the police showed up. Nobody called the police. I actually made up half the story. Really clean bathroom would poop there again!”

“I brought my 2010 car to Gibb’s this week in need of multiple repairs, an oil change and inspection, and four new tires. They called and provided me with a line-by-line quote before beginning work, and had it finished before the end of the week. They also fixed the air conditioning, an issue that Valvoline has tried to do multiple times and hadn’t ever solved long-term. The prices were extremely honest and the work they did was quick and high-quality. Would recommend to anyone.”

“Great prices on fuel.I don't like how they show the price for fuel with a reward card or something in large font on the sign and show the actual price you will pay as a regular customer in a much smaller font.It's kind of deceptive imho.The price was still good even with the gimmick price on the sign being different that what you will actually pay. It's only a $.05 difference between the two.They might as well have them be the same and stop disappointing the majority of people who see the low price on the sign and stop in.”

“R&A Automotive is the most honest, auto repair service ever. Anthony is amazing. I brought my vehicle to 2 other auto repair stations they both told me that my 2003 Jeep Liberty 80k miles and I am the only owner Wasn't worth being fixed and it would cost $2,000 plus to fix just drive it until it doesn't run anymore. The other one said it's not worth getting fixed, you can't sell, just give it to me and I will junk it for you. I brought it to Anthony and it wasn't even what the other 2 auto repair places to told me was wrong. Not only that, Anthony put it up on a lift and told me it wasn't safe to drive. The ball joints were rusted and the brake house pump needed to be fixed along with a couple other minor issues. He fixed everything that was wrong and it is now safe and reliable. Thank you so much.”
