The Wellfleet store is small and has a very limited selection. I almost never find what I want there, so now I just don't bother trying. Orleans is huge but they still never seem to have what I'm looking for and they make you feel like you're imposing if you ask for guidance. Land's End in P'town is good and Baskin's in Orleans is even better.

Helpful, knowledgeable people and a good selection of supplies (paint, lumber, electrical, and general hardware/tools make this a first stop for any building, home improvement or 'honeydew" project. I find their lumber yard and its staff to be "finest kind" (right accross the street from the hardware/paint store). Good people!

Customer service was horrible. The salesman, Brad, passed me off to someone else, Joy, who was on vacation. She finally retuned my emails and cc-ed in another person, Naki, who never responded to the emails, not even once. Part of my order was on back order. After constantly trying to reach them, they finally sent the materials, which were completely defective. After spending over $13,000 with them, I will never work with this company again.

After an initial shaky start with Mid-Cape, they showed themselves to be a truly professional company that stands behind their services and products. They went over and beyond to make sure that a customer was full satisfied. Unlike some national chains, they seem to care about their customers and making sure that customers are fully satisfied.
