My family’s been camping at Maurice’s for 4 generations. So many great memories from my childhood. The place needs an overhaul to be honest. Personally I consider it charming and very old Cape Cod but if I weren’t so enamored and familiar I would be less than thrilled with the state of the camp these days.

We stayed in a “deluxe” cabin which consisted of a jack and Jill setup. The accommodations don’t appear to have been updated in the last 20 years and consisted of wood paneled walls and musty carpeting. We were told—and there are signs stating that—there is daily maid service but we have yet to have our cabin cleaned so far after five days. We’ve had issues requiring maintenance—lightbulbs burnt out and a toilet needing plunging. We were told to go to another cabin and find a plunger ourselves and given two lightbulbs to change ourselves. Considering the price we paid ($1500 for seven nights), we are displeased with the services and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

This place has been purchased by the town of Wellfleet and no longer exists.

It appears that the town has opened this campground to those less fortunate.Lots of full time run down rigs. Great location but not for families. One or two nights at most then be on your way.Very overpriced for the downtrodden atmosphere. Will not be back.

Welcome from owner very friendly. The location is very good. The campsite is outdated. Absolutely overpriced. Maurice's market is permanently closed but is advertised online. The showers and toilets were very old and dirty. The campsites from place 5 to place 1 are not really usable for tents because they have a slope. The playground is an imposition. Lots of old trailers on the site. The paths are broken. No lighting at night. Night rest was not observed. We left early. No refund.

I will start off with the Good, Great location, sights are spacious and friendly staff. The Bad, sights are not well taken care of, there are permanently stationed trailers that are is severely needed removal...not repair but disposal. I was lucky enough to be sandwich by them. The yearly renters also load up there spot with large boats, porches, trucks, cars and make parking and driving difficult. Playground is terrible.

Great camping, clean, quiet. I am a vendor at the Wellfleet Flea Market. The staff is accommodating. I would highly recommend. Thanks Maurice's....

Les douches et toilettes sont peu entretenu au niveau de la propreté et du remplacement des matériaux brisés. Lors de notre passage, l’ambiance générale était calme et respectueuse

For tenting not a great campsite but for rvs i can see the appeal. For me i want my Tenting to feel connected to nature. But the thing i noticed was lots lots of rvs crammed into the woods
