I can't recommend Wellesley Antique Lighting highly enough. The brass chandelier in our dining room was in the house when we moved in 20+ years ago - it fit the house's style and looked like it was once lovely but was in pretty bad shape. It now looks like new and is the perfect fixture for the room. Jon is a true craftsman as well as a licensed electrician - he picked our chandelier up, rewired and repaired it, and replaced it. We were in the best hands from the beginning.

Amazing experience. John knew so much about a vintage chandelier I brought to him to rewire and gave us a very fair estimate. He did an amazing job with the electrical and cleaned up the chandelier beautifully. I HIGHLY recommend him for all your antique lighting needs.

Absolutely excellent. John was a pleasure to work with. He immediately understood the quality of the lamp I brought in (a Chinese antique from my mom's amazing collection) and knew exactly what to do. John is a true craftsman and we are lucky to have someone like that working in our community.

The second time I used the services offered were entirely unsatisfactory. Two antique lamps had repairs that made them no longer antique and seemed rushed. We were not impressed with the work done and will never return.

Jon came to our house and left with an antique (over 100 yrs) chandelier and returned with - see the photo! He is a magician! I am very fussy and quite attached to this chandelier. It came from my parent’s house. Thrilled is an understatement. Jon’s quotes are very fair. To restore our light to its former glory requires patience, care and talent!!!

I had a fairly simply lamp repair, but didn't want to do it myself for fear of burning down my house. Enter in Wellesley Antique Lighting and Repair. They were prompt, friendly, and professional. When I picked up my lamp a week after I brought it in, the man remembered me by sight. That's service. In addition to great repairs, he also restores antique lighting and has many beautiful examples in the shop. Many of them are a little out of my price range, but there are some really cool ones in the $50-$100 range as well.
