Also, he had a stomach bug this week and went to urgent care, but CVH called and checked on him and gave me great advice - I was so thankful for the additional support! Could not recommend more!”

“Has the best customer service I've ever experienced with a vet. My cat was recently diagnosed with stage 2 chronic kidney disease. They have been beyond helpful in answering all my questions, telling me which food to switch him to and what care he will need. They turned my panic about this diagnoses to a calm. Really happy I decided to take my cats to this vet. 100% recommend them.”

“Doctor Binder is truly amazing! Her compassion and kindness for her patients goes beyond words I could explain. She talks to them as if they were her own. She is very honest and will not do unnecessary testing without discussing all pros and cons first. I travel over 30 minutes to bring my cats and dog to her. The staff in the office are so nice and overall the most perfect vet office in my opinion. The one or two times I urgently had to bring my cat in and Dr Binder wasn’t there, the other vet in the office was just as kind. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.”

“We love City Cats! We've gone there for a few years now, and the staff has always been kind and helpful. We actually moved to the South Shore but still keep our appointments with City Cats, because they're that good. Dr. Palopoli and the other staff are so caring and I've always found the whole practice transparent in terms of pricing and test options. I've never felt 'taken advantage of' like I have in the past at other practices. Highly recommend :)”
“We've had cats in a dozen towns and cities across four states, and the Cat's Hospital is the best cat vet we've had. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. More important, our cats get great care, from routine checkups to treating issues small and large. And we never feel as if they're doing something just for the money--no ridiculously expensive tests with no effect on care, as we've had in many other places.”

We had a very traumatizing experience at our previous vet where they mishandled our boy (force holding him down and dragging him by the collar) not once but twice which resulted in him being completely fearful of going back in. “I found this place because I had been going to the same Brookline vet group for 17 years and it has steadily been going downhill but I was loyal and don’t like change. When my dog became really sick - I had to find a place that was organized, calm & competent to try and save my dogs life. Ultimately, lily passed away but the wonderful care she received & the kindness that was shown to me was like night and day compared to my previous vet. “My dog gets extremely anxious with vet appointments. He needs lots of calming meds and a muzzle. The radiologist that took him in for his ultrasound was fantastic! We were unsure our dog would be able to do it given his anxiety but she was able to get it done and he happily came back out to us with her saying he did great. “They've been able to get my dogs in for urgent appointments, and we moved our elderly husky there because they were able to get her in same day for an urgent foot issue that ultimately required surgical intervention that they performed. She did fantastic, we were there several times over two weeks for follow ups. Had another urgent issue arise and they were still able to fit in same day.”

“The staff at Four Paws are amazing, they really are true dog whisperers. My puppy loves going there and comes back happy tired, and always healthy. They are very particular about maintaining healthy environment for the puppers.
Daycare services are great too - puppies get 2 play times in the day at 10-11.30, and again at 1-2pm. They are pretty strict about the pick up time before 6pm and drop off before 9.45am.
They do have a slightly complicated billing structure for boarding services, and are on the higher end of the spectrum in general, but are the cleanest kennel spaces that I have come across so far. One needs to add puppy play hours, a tuck-in service, bath before pick-up all at additional costs.
The place is very well-managed. My pup is also with the Thrive pet clinic, sharing the premises with Four Paws, hence in case he needs attention during the day, it's very convenient to get him his vaccines, treatments, and routine checkups done during daycare hours.
(Note for boarding services, the premises are unmanned from 7pm to 6am)”

I know drive an hour and 20 Muto get to their office. After I moved away from the area, I tried going to a local vet. The experience was not a good one. I am back to driving to Wellesley Animal Hospital and so glad for my decision!”
