“Excellent beers and pizza! My boyfriend and I frequently visit this brewery and we are never disappointed. The staff is friendly and there are always dogs to pet. The sour beer is one of the best Ive had! The pizza dough is perfect and the menu offers a wide variety of options. It's an especially great place to sit outside and have a beer when the weather is nice!”

“All of the rooms there were so much fun, the food/drink was great, and the bathroom was sanitary unlike other public places I’ve been to. What was best to me is that you can have fun in level 99 no matter your age.”

“The deCordova museum is a beautifully landscaped park with a variety of interesting sculptures dotted around the place. The sculptures range from charming to challenging, intriguing to amazing. Having taken kids, I can also report that it's good for all ages.Obviously, since it's outdoors, it's not ideal in bad weather. The gift shop, which they did wisely place indoors, is pretty fantastic, and may have inspired a couple of visits even when we didn't plan to see the sculptures. There's also a nice cafe, although not worth a trip all by itself, like the museum or gift shop.”

“Beach House might be the nicest indoor sand facility in the country, and I’ve been all over! New England is a hard place to play beach volleyball since the weather is incompatible for about half the year but Beach House is an oasis.Rob is one the best operators in the business I’ve met and Elena is always on top of everything. Between the amazing customer service and the premium facility itself the community couldn’t be luckier to have this around. This place is the best.”

“I was invited to lunch. We sat outdoors despite the heat, it was very nice and great shade. Our waitress was patient and thorough as she checked several times to make sure the lunch we ordered was good. It was quiet despite people around at other tables. Just a lovely luncheon with good friends.”

“Beautiful location for our wedding in July. We were able to comfortably host ~100 guests using the indoor rooms and had just enough room for dancing. Erin was wonderful to work with and made the entire experience hassle-free. The estate is absolutely gorgeous both inside & out.”

“Everything was fantastic. Our server was very knowledgeable and helped us with our choices. I had a saffron fettuccine dish which was out out of this world. The halibut was also a fantastic choice. We finished off the night with two homemade deserts a brownie with Ice cream, and an apple crisp with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We can wait to go back”

“Gore Place is an amazing 50-acre spot right on the Watertown/Waltham line, it is pretty much hiding in plain sight but you should not miss this awesome spot!!!Everyone is free to walk around the property from dawn to dusk, and in addition to the amazing looking home, carriage house (available for rentals) and grounds, there are also adorable sheep living in their new barn. You may also see Rocket the Border Collie running around at - of course - rocket speed!I was also here for an employee summer outing years ago for 200 people, so if you need space for that many people that has parking and is convenient to transportation (the 71 bus stops right in front), this is your place. There are lots of events throughout the year, watch their website and follow their Facebook page (FB page also has cool "this day in history" updates detailing what was happening at the farm on that day in the 1800's). They also have cute sheep photos and the occasional sheep pun; everyone needs those. There is a small gift shop inside the house where you can get a gift that is totally unique. I stopped by yesterday after noticing they were having a summer sale and bought something for myself (3 heavy cotton dishtowels, not the crummy kind in regular stores but good, heavy ones which will last for years). Gift shop is open M, W, F & Sat from 10-1 (double-check hours in case other things are happening), nice employees too that can answer all of your questions.”

“Just got home from the 100th Anniversary Gala at the Dedham Community House and walking through the front door after not having been there for over 3 DECADES, I was rocketed back to the days of my youth when I spent a great deal of time at D.C.H. The fellowship of the event was palpable and the pride in the principles that D.C.H. encompasses is inspiring. The outgoing director of 15 years, Michelle, introduced the new incoming director, who has decades of experience in non profit programs and knows and understands the missions and goals of Dedham Community House).I went to preschool here and I was both nurtured and gently disciplined so that I could LEARN and the wonderful teachers helped form me into the human being that I am today. I went to Dedham Community House summer camp from age 6 to age 12. I made some of my closest friends during those summers days at camp. I learned teamwork, scheduling and routine, listening to directions, sports, crafts, and empathy and compassion for others. I wouldn't trade those days for anything. It's so wonderful to know that D.C.H. is still a place for children to go to be safe and guided. D.C.H. is an important part of our community and I am sure it will be here and thriving 100 years from now. ???”

“In all honesty, I have not actually toured around this museum - however I have attend a Mansh Pravesh (Odissi classical dance graduation) and an Arangetram (Bharatnatyam classical dance graduation) at this auditorium and the place is super beautiful. In addition, the people who work here are great! I had asked them if they have any postcards for my nephews and nieces, if they could give me a call back - they found two different kinds and put it aside for me for free.”

“This place was a great surprise! Yes, aside from weddings, you can also visit the estate every 1st Saturday of the month. The tour is and hour, after which you can visit the grounds and the greenhouses. We had an amazing guide who was very accommodating and patient with our elementary school kids (who asked a lot of questions). My favorite part were the greenhouses which are well maintained. It’s like a botanical garden, but a bit smaller. The garden host was also very nice and helpful!!!We spent about two hours here but we could have stayed more, plenty to see in the greenhouses.Overall a great place, run by special people!”

“Love the Pasta Night food, people and local flair. Helps this 50+ New Yorker integrate to his new Natick home near Boston. Made lots of friends! And "John on Accordion" during Pasta Night is something special!! Not to mention, I'm also a "Son of Italy" (Calabria), myself, from my Great Grandmother, Mom's side, who emigrated to Manhattan.”

“We had a wedding reception dinner party for our Son and his Wife at Son's of Italy Watertown and the place was perfect! The room was all newly updated! If I had any questions, Maria would get right back to me to help with everything from decorating the room to the bartender details. The bartender did a great job taking care of everyone also. My parents have been members there for many years! It is a great place to have a wedding reception or any family party! The place has been so wonderful to us so next month we are planning another party celebration for another Son and his Girlfriend! We wish all there a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!”

“The only reason I am not giving Brae Burn Country Club in Newton Massachusetts five out of five stars is because of the pace of play in the summer months. Even though the course is in pristine condition, it does get very backed up and rounds can take a while. On a positive note, everything else is amazing about this place. The food is fantastic, the club house is scenic and beautiful, and the service is always friendly and well organized. The people at this club know the right kind of personal to hire, and the right kind of members to take in because every time I am here with my family friends and other friends who are members, I always have a wonderful experience. Brae Burn also has the perfect mix of golf, and social events, which is perfect for a country club. Not to mention a beautiful pool and tennis facility not far from the clubhouse. Also with indoor simulators for the winter months! Would definitely recommend if you live in the Newton area if your looking to join a country club. There's something for everybody!”
