I bought three things for an overseas trip and tried to return one of them when I came home two weeks later as I ended up not wearing or needing a pair of pants. When I went into the Wellesley store the day after I came home, the sales woman said she couldn't do anything because it was beyond the 3-day return policy (or 7-day for a store credit). I was dumbfounded. No one ever told me that! This woman was so rude and uncaring. She said, "I only came in because they were short of help. I work in the Nantucket store!" I will never shop at Sara Campbell again. Ever. Rude help, and you can find cute clothing at Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's or another store with a far better return policy!

New England chic local designer. The staff are helpful and very patient. They carry adult clothes in store but have some children’s clothes online. You can find the perfect outfit and a few gifts for when you’re invited to the beach house. Pretty accessories for a gift for a friend or for yourself.

This is a review for the Beacon Hill location. Jennifer could not have been more helpful or accommodating. I called with a question about an item on their website and she immediately and cheerfully responded. Not only that, she texted me photos of the item in different colors. But the truly exceptional part of this experience was, she asked where I lived, said it was on her way home, and dropped it to my doorstep that very night! That's what I call above and beyond customer service.

BEACON HILL LOCATION. Horrible experience with rude and insulting employee. I was returning item from day before with original sales receipt and tags. Saleperson implied that I had worn garment and then returned. At first she questioned when I bought item saying it could not be day before because she was working and I said okay must be day before that the receipt is clearly dated I said so we could elinate any speculation to which.. Then she couldn't find me in the system or my transaction, then she said she could only issue gift card for refund even though I paid w my debit card. Thank God I had all my paperwork. Then she questioned why tags were removed and placed in the bag. To which I replied that is usually what people do when they plan on wearing garment they have purchased. However after I put on garment I did not like the way it fell on me hence the return and I had already told her this when entering store and providing reason for return. If I was up to anything clandestine as she was desperately trying to make so to justify her horrendous behavior don't you think I would have reattached tags. Then a sweet customer complimented me on my Canadian Goose rain jacket and asked where I got it and if it came in any other colors because she could not pull off yellow. The salesperson chimed in with, "NO ONE CAN PULL OFF YELLOW" to which I then said well I am wearing yellow and she said oh no I was taking about myself. She was like 5"3 shortish black hair, suntanned skin, what looked like a surgically enhanced bossom. Probably early to mid 30s. She was so nasty and made my transaction unnecessarily difficult and time consuming. Too bad because the salesperson. Who worked day before when I had purchased the garment and was my 1st time ever in shop was so cool and welcoming, she was tall short brown hair.

Deidra could not have been more helpful. I called from Denver about a specific item and she took pictures and emailed me all the choices. If you want something unique Sara Campbell fits the bill.

I had a wonderful whirlwind shopping experience the day before Christmas in the Osterville shop. The clerk was able to look up my mother-in-law on the computer and direct me to her style and size based on her past purchases. The packages were wrapped beautifully and I was off with one more thing checked off my list! Unfortunately the $350 cashmere did not fit properly and I wanted to exchange for another size but because my mother-in-law lives off Cape I was unable to get it back to the store until today. I was told by the very rude manager in the Chatham store that the return policy was very strict and only 14 days. I explained my predicament and that I was never informed of this policy at purchase to which she told me to refer to my receipt. Her tone of voice clearly indicated that she was rather disgusted by my attempt to exchange an item at this late date. I tried to explain that my mother-in-law and two sister-in-laws adored the boutique and were loyal customers in hopes that she would help facilitate an exchange this once given the circumstances. She told me Sara would say the same thing and directed me to call the main store number and speak with her. All this to say that shopping this small luxury boutique, although a pleasurable purchasing experience, failed miserably in after-purchase customer service. This has left a terrible taste I my mouth. I will not return. Buyer beware!
