Roof in tennis courts leaks badly. No air conditioning or power in the courts now for 5 days. Management has no answers.

This gym is the definition of mid. As someone who only uses the gym, the lack of machines is crazy. There is no real hack squat, TWO bench presses, the cable chest machine feels strange, no deadlift area, only like 4 adjustable free weight benches and the gym is just swarmed with high schoolers at all times. Overall fine to workout at but the wayland location is 10x better and worth driving an extra 5-10 minutes for

I joined New York Sports Club (formerly Boston Sports Club) in September, and my experience has been fantastic so far. This gym offers a wide range of amenities, great equipment, and a relaxed, casual atmosphere that keeps me motivated to achieve my fitness goals.First and foremost, the facilities at NYSC are well-maintained and clean. The gym is spacious, allowing for ample room to move around even during peak hours. The variety of machines and weights caters to all types of workouts, whether you're into cardio, strength training, or group fitness classes. For me, the standout feature of this gym is the exceptional personal training offered. I've worked with Brett Angel for the past five months, and he is undoubtedly a top-notch personal trainer. Brett's expertise, dedication, and passion for fitness are evident in every session. He takes the time to understand your goals and tailors a personalized training program that challenges and pushes you to reach new heights. Brett's positive attitude and ability to motivate are truly commendable, making each session both enjoyable and productive. The other staff at NYSC are friendly and always willing to assist you. Whether you have a question about a particular machine, need help with your membership, or simply want some advice, they are readily available and eager to lend a hand. There was never any "hard sell" about becoming a member or adding a personal training package. They just helped me sign up for the free trial, answered my questions, and let me decide what I wanted to do next. In conclusion, this is a gym that I highly recommend. If you're looking for a well-rounded fitness experience with exceptional personal training, NYSC should be your go-to destination.

No hot water in the showers in the past week. Wound bandage in shower stalls was still there next day, wonder how often they clean. Steam room (women) usually not working. Needs better management.

Ineffective management- poor upkeep of facilities and lack of caring for their members. Have been asking for 3 months to get nets fixed and request continues to be ignored.

My wife put her membership on hold several years ago, and the club started charging her after three months without informing her. Such a sleazy organization.

Large facility with plenty of equipment. But understaffed - front desk often unattended and pool lifeguard MIA. But the biggest dis-satisfier is the plumbing: showers are awful - unreliable hot water, low pressure and poor anti scalding valves. Terrible way to end a workout.

Staff is rude and unhelpful. Gym and other areas are usually disorganized with trash left behind. High price to pay for low quality, and given the limited options of gyms in area, they can have poor customer service but still operate.

This club is really nice. My family enjoys going there almost every day. We specifically like the swimming pool. The place is very clean and the people are friendly. We have been recommending our friends to go there as well - 5 stars facility.

This is a very bad sport club, most equipments are over used and worned without any maintenances, the treadmills have become very dangerous , suddenly stopped and they just gave the excuses , they do not spend any money to maintain their qualitys of sport equipments , sometimes it has become very dangerous for members, the part time manager Sharon occasionally shows up in Wellesley, She always warned people regularly to terminate their memberships without any sound reasons, She is disgusting and annoyed! BSC should file her!!!

Extremely poor customer service and deceptive billing practices. It's too bad because this used to be a great gym.

Very disappointed at the service provided at BSC Wellesley that we have decided to terminate our membership. The manager (Tom) is one of the rudest people I have come across for a person as a leader of customer service for his branch (BSC Wellesley). He refused to answer a basic questions and has refused to refund the money that was debited ($380) from our accounts because they could not find a swim coach for my kids. The facility kept charging us knowing very well that there was no coach and we did not ask for a refund hoping they would adjust it when they do in fact find a coach. Speaking to the branch manager and asking if they could adjust towards another class was shockingly a very bad experience. We were told that they could not adjust for another sport since that is how the instructors are paid. So who got paid for the lessons my kids never got?!
