This store did not honor their return policy. I returned a pair of sneakers at the Wellesley store in new condition and was told I return often and may not be able to return moving forward. Although the sneakers were in new condition and within 30 days, the person who helped me did not honor the company’s return policy and issued me store credit. I’m sorry to say she was unkind. I believe she was a manager because she was training a new employee on register transactions and watching transactions over associates’ shoulders, asked why was the associate issuing cash (I paid over in cash), etc. I decided to purchase $100 of socks rather than return for future purchases. If you have an injury or are in the process of figuring out what sneakers will work for you and think you may need to return in new or lightly used condition within the return policy, I would recommend REI or purchasing directly from the manufacturer, because they honor their return policy without question or confrontation.

Shout-out to Hampton who was absolutely fantastic! Even though the store was packed, he took his time to scan our feet, had us try different models and different sizes, and went on to explain the specifics of each. He gave us great advice and helped us make sure we left with the shoes that best fit our needs.

I guess I was unlucky and got the kid who wasn't mentally back from vacation yet when I visited on Saturday. I walked in with a note from my podiatrist for a specific shoe and a few questions since it's all new to me. He couldn't answer any of my questions, kept getting my shoe size wrong, and took several minutes to get one pair of shoes out from the back each time. It took an hour to try on 3 pairs of shoes before I got tired and just wanted out. When I checked my shipping notice this morning, I noticed that he somehow managed to get both pairs incorrect.I did some research and started learning about shoes on my own and will be buying some online, but I had high hopes about being able to try on shoes and learn about them in person.

Mixed experience. They sold my boyfriend a pair of shoes that were 1.5 sizes too small. They turned his toenails black and he wore them 6 times at most. He didnt know why they were so painful til another running store in another state noted they were way too small. Marathon wouldn't let him return them for full credit. They gave him a 30% discount on a new pair of shoes but I was surprised that they were so reluctant to give him full credit in the name of good customer relations. I've been going to this store for years.

They really know their stuff. I came in explaining one issue and was advised about another that also needed correction. Tommy was attentive and patient as we went through several different options. I really enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend anyone who has spent time trying and returning to come here for their sneaker needs.
