“Boars head meats. Italian sandwich 7.00 and 1/2 lb of meat... had nice homemade cooked meatloaf's That smelled delicious while ordering my sandwich... I wish they had a meatloaf sandwich... a lot of home cooked meals, marinated steak tips, chicken , turkey etc...rotisserie chickens, and more... Next time I'll trying a small meatloaf... 7.99 a bargain for a meal for 2 people”
“the clerk recommended a Surfside tea to me instead of the usual twisted tea as it’s vodka based and not malt as well as more than 150 calories less per can. they look out for you here will definitely comeback loved the teas new favorite product!”

A nice craft beer selection, including a few great Vermont brands that are hard to find locally. I recently visited, having not been in the store for 20 years or more, and found it more open and spacious than I recalled. I will visit more often now.”

“Web searching local champagnes lead me here and first time visiting. Very nice wine and cheese and more. Very nice and wide selection of RM growers Champagnes, largest I have seen around here. Impressive. Was able to talk with the kind and knowledgeable in-house wine guru, and heard some nice recommendations of Blanc de Noirs, and picked Eric Rodez Brut Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs for a special celebration. Enjoying every gold drop of it. Thank you very much for the recommendation! Will definitely visit again for another Blanc de Noir bottle.”

“Having lived in the area for 5+ years, I just wish I had discovered this store sooner! Deceptively large store with a great selection of products. In particular, a fine selection of bourbon whiskey at very competitive pricing for the area (aside from some of the more recently hyped-up bottles which are priced accordingly). The guys at the counter are also very friendly and more than willing to help you find what you're looking for. Definitely worth the trek from north of route 9!”

“UPDATE THE MOST UNUSUAL wine shop in the Boston area, that imports all their own wines directly (many of which no one else imports to the US), and hidden in a basement in Newton. There was an article about them on Forbes: Updating because Ansonia is back open again, post-COVID, for the once a month 10AM-2PM Saturday "Owner's Hours" free tasting (typically 10+ bottles open). They do a good job explaining each wines backstory. You can find the schedule on their website here: The other three Saturdays of the month, they are open for browsing and picking up wines previously ordered. Easy parking in the lot out front. Linda (as well as the 2 other gentlemen) is so warm and welcoming and offered great advice on their products. Their flourless cookies are incredible; crispy on the outside, fluffy like meringue and nutty with some fudge on the inside. The homemade chutney and curry cheese is super delicious. Favorite shop in Wellesley ❤️”
