I am having a very difficult time financially and had to make a tough decision to sell something very important to me I went to quite a few places and was offered so little by the time I found H&A jewelers I was in tears. The owner was the kindest most understanding man I’ve ever met not only did he give me what i feel was a good price for what I was selling he really made me feel like he cared and understood what I was going through I would give him a hundred stars if I could I would definitely recommend going here if you’re looking to sell or even purchase the owner is a very fair kind and thoughtful man I’m very happy I found this store I can’t thank him enough I appreciate how kind he was.

Their jewelry style is out of date. If you are looking for a gift for someone under 50, don't go here. She won't like it. The other jewelry stores in Wellesley all have much better designs. They repair jewelry, so when the string on my bead necklace broke, I brought it in for repair. I gave the manager a baggie of the loose beads and the half of the necklace that was intact. He said it would be no problem to re-string and carefully took the intact half and secured it, presumably so that they could follow the pattern when they put it all together. The picture shows the necklace when I picked it up. The lower half of the picture shows the beads in the original pattern (from the half of the necklace that was intact.) The rest of the beads they put on half hazardously! They were very rude when I expressed my disappointment. I couldn't wear the necklace this way and ended up restringing it myself. Obviously, when someone brings something in for repair, they want it put back to how it was before it broke, but please beware because they don't follow that logic.

They are the best jewelry store that I’ve ever used for repairs. It’s a family-run business and no matter who serves you, they are ALWAYS courteous and do exactly what you need done or are willing to make helpful suggestions. They ALWAYS want you to be happy with their workmanship. And, I find their pricing the best. They also sell estate jewelry and will also design a one-of-a-kind piece upon request. Especially during this uncertain time, let’s help these small merchants remain in Wellesley!

I needed to liquidate some jewelry for cash due to covid 19 income issues. They were very helpful and I received a great price for my items . I'm happy I went here.

I purchased 3 pieces of jewelry from a friend of mine who has a jewelry collection. The pieces needed to be resized. She suggested H & A Jewelers. I brought the pieces to him on 10/09/2019 and was told 2-3 weeks. I called on 11/08 for a status update and was told he had my pieces in his hand. I finally received a call from Harry on 11/18 the pieces were ready. I said I would probably be there Thanksgiving week. Seeing that I had time today, 11/21, I went today to pick up my jewelry. Not ready - come back next week. I told the woman I lived halfway to the Cape and received a call on 11/18 the pieces were ready. Then, they they told me the pieces would be ready in two hours so I killed the time. I did not like the work he did on the bracelet - still somewhat tight and on the chain for the necklace - two loops are noticeably larger than the rest of the chain. So two "stories", very expensive and unhappy with the job on two pieces. When I brought the jewelry in on 10/09, I did ask for a break and he gave me a break on the tax so he did earn one star.

It's been over a year but this shop cheats. It still irks me to this day that when selling my 1st batch of unwanted gold, the jeweler lumped the 18kt gold with 14k gold and gave me a price. I didn't know any better until I went to dipresco instead and that person separated the gold. I had a lot of gold from my father in law who worked and bought some gold in Saudi Arabia where 18 kt is preferred.
