My laptop screen separated from the base, and the repair was amazing! The time between I called him, received a quote and dropped off my laptop, it took less than 30 minutes. The repair itself took about a day and, considering the state of my laptop, it was very fast and reliable. I'll definitely go again if I have any other issues.

I have used Gadgetworx on multiple occasions, mostly for iPhone screen repairs but most recently for replacement of the charging port on a Samsung phone. They have always been good at what they do, with a quick turn-around on the repairs, and fair pricing. They are always my first choice when something fixable goes wrong with a family phone.

I paid 170$ to repair my phone. It worked for 2 days then it broke again without me doing anything to it. I wanted to go back there before leaving back to my country, France and the guy wasn’t there although the shop was supposed to be opened. So I paid 170$ for nothing.. 1 star only I am very disappointed

This guy may be a genius at what he does, but I will never know. I needed four stripped screws removed from the bottom of a laptop, a task that I think would take a competent professional 5 to 10 minutes to complete, 15 minutes tops -- I was not asking him to replace anything or perform any services. He airily informed me that the cost for this would be $79!!! I understand that people need to make a living, but this was over the top. As noted he may be a genius at what he does, but what he does appears simply to be gouging.

I was unaware of the degree to which my laptop's files had been compromised. When Jay returned it (the same day), it ran like new.

Excellent service. Was having multiple problems with an email account. Jay was kind, sympathetic to my stress, very professional, and fixed the problems while I waited. Would definitely recommend this shop.

My work computer suffered water damage on a Thursday and when I called (a few too many times in a row) on a Friday, the owner called me back letting me know he was out of town that weekend but to unplug the computer and bring it on Monday when he returned. He was very responsive via text and within a week, my computer had a new motherboard and was given a nice cleaning. Fast and much cheaper than going to Apple to replace.

I asked Jay, the owner, about a digitizer replacement for a laptop. The digitizer is the part of the laptop screen that deals with the touch input.
I was quoted $650 and told that I needed to buy an entire new top to the laptop. I showed Jay a screen shot of eBay in which the part that he quoted me $499 for was selling for $250. When I showed him this, he told me to buy it and he would install it for $100.
I repeatedly said that I was only looking for a digitizer replacement, and with the same $100 labor cost, and the cost of the part being $70, he would not repair it for me.
The most frustrating part is that in my conversation with him, I got quotes like "I'm not saying it can't be done", and "I'm checking in YouTube now" which leads me to believe that there isn't any real repair expertise being offered and it's simply following online guides. Those guides may be perfectly accurate and good enough for most people, but when I have a specific requirement that I'm looking for in which there aren't any guides (a digitizer replacement), we hit a snag.
When I asked the tough questions like "The only way you will be able to help me is if there is already a video online of someone doing it for you to follow? I have an iFixit kit, I'm as good as you in following a video. That's not why I'm asking for help.", I waited significantly longer than my previous correspondence for an answer, which was the non-answer of "I'm going to pass."
I was repeatedly told that he was not interested and to find another shop, which unfortunately I will now be doing.
Bonus: I even offered to bring the laptop over to his shop so that he could open it up and see if he could do the replacement, but even when offered a free look inside to see if it's possible, I was still told no, it wasn't possible for him to do. (As I said, possibly because there were not any guides online).
