They just refreshed the whole store with a new white washed look and added new brands like Citizens of Humanity, Rails, Frank & Eileen, Peter Millar, Helly Hansen, Johnnie-O, and so many pretty printed dresses and fun tops for women. I’ve had so much luck there lately just had to post. If you haven’t been there recently it’s worth a stop!

OWNERS AND STAFF - READ THIS POST!E.A. Davis got bought out, and I hope the owners take this posting seriously. First, my husband and I have been customers for decades before it got bought out, and the staff was rude, but the new staff especially the young man with dark hair STARES AT YOU THE WHOLE TIME YOU ARE THERE. Making you feel so uncomfortable and creepy, or that he thinks you are going to steal something. BTW, it made us flee the store and never come back so change your staring ways kid, and you lost thousands of dollars in clothing purchases. Also, the old E.A. Davis was so classy and beautiful BEFORE, now the new owners made it look all white with barren walls and more like a bad version of a big box store, but we would take Macy's any day over this Pplace. It is very institutional looking, and no pictures, no molding - everything is gone. I know you are trying to make it your own, but add a picture or two or something. And, fire the kid with the dark hair since he has creepy ways, and makes customers feel so uncomfortable. Also, extremely expensive so have some after Xmas sales to get people in the store again.

EA Davis is exactly the type of store that makes shopping a pleasure. the brands that they carry are all super quality, and are truly worth the price. The coat selection alone can compare with any high end department store. It is a real gem,and the staff is very professional also.

First off, I would like to say this is the preppy person's helm. I was recommended this store by a fellow Lilly Lover. Toward the end of every season, they will have massive price cuts (50% and up) on big name brand items. Brands they sell include, Lilly Pulitzer, Vineyard Vines, Barbour, Southern Tide, Patagonia, etc. If the items continue to sit, the percentages off increase! However, if you are in the size group that is higher in demand during the sales, they are the first to go. So, be on the lookout! My first experience with them was late summer during their sale blowout. The younger Lilly representative over the phone was very nice. I wish I was able to remember her name because she deserves recognition. She knew I was from Western Mass and couldn't take the time to drive down. She went above and beyond! She took time with me over the phone going through the ENTIRE sale section and offering me the sizes they had in stock for me. I ended up choosing a swimsuit that I have been waiting the longest for at the right price. I ended up paying around $70 including the shipping of $10.00 (rough estimates here). Anyways, I was more than willing to pay the price because Lilly's swimsuits retail are twice as much than that! Needless to say, the package arrived next day, which was a wonderful surprise! It was all wrapped up for safe shipping in a white box. Once opened, it had the EA Davis Large Green Logo on the top inside of the box with the bathing suit wrapped nicely in the signature green tissue paper. I am sorry, but details are everything. Thereafter, I will say the customer service has been hit or miss. I don't know if the representative I previously contacted was a seasonal employee. But the other employees albeit older are not as warm and inviting over the phone. Whenever I ask about sale or particular styles, they will state, "you can come into the store to see our selection." Despite them providing shipping for potential buyers who are farther away. This is the only reason I am taking away one star from the review. Otherwise, I hope from management seeing this review, they will correct their ways. LP has a huge following that is willing to support small business owners instead of corporate. I have seen small stores be in jeopardy of closing and with one social media post about Lilly Pulitzer was able to stay open as a result. All in all, I will start taking time out to actually visit the store.

Such a community staple. They also have some good clothes and fair prices. I like the Barbour coats they always have stocked, Patagonia, Peter Millar, Lilly Pulitzer, and fun men's accessories like ties boxers and socks. You can get a great men's gift here. They are more of a traditional/preppy clothing shop with collared shirts, hand made flip flops, embroidered shorts, and great beach/summer wear. The women's section looks even better but I'm not really there. They have Lilly Pulitzer, jack roger and kids stuff too. A few times a year they have a really good sales and mark down really nice stuff like Patagonia or even sometimes Barbour.

Fantastic selection of classic men's wear with a twist. Rob helped me with a shirt/tie combo for a summer wedding that generated more compliments than any other outfit I have ever worn!

I was in to buy a shirt and tie for a summer outdoor wedding. I ended up with a bag full of clothes. Loved just about everything in the store. Rob helped me with the shirt and tie and they were a hit-over a dozen compliments! Thanks Rob.

Love this local treasure! A tremendous selection of timeless brands for men, women and kids-from Patagonia and Barbour to Peter Millar and Vineyard Vines-and of course, Lilly Pulitzer! Their own label includes Kinross Cashmere. The store is always fully staffed and stocked…What better reason to shop local? As a lifelong Wellesleyite I am thrilled to be able to share the rare 'local department store' experience with my own family!
