“I’m not really a fan of the new checkout if you don’t want it to be self checkout you should figure out a way to have a better set up. Maybe have some big registers on one side and self checkouts on the other like they do at other stores like CVS, so the workers can still see the self checkout screens, just a thought. I did retail for 10 years so I understand wanting to not have self checkout in this day and age but figure out a better solution. This new way has too much foot traffic. I also don’t like how much their candy has went up in price. But I still gave 4 stars because my wife, daughter and I went in not too long ago and we were helped by this lovely lady I believe she said her name was Paige. She helped point things out in the store to us and gave my daughter some ideas for gifts for Mother’s Day. Even though she was busy trying to balance a few customers who were asking questions and needing help, she still was able to make us feel like we were the main priority, while juggling everyone at the same time, and ring us out at the end. She’s helped us a few times here before too. There was also someone in line who didn’t speak English and didn’t know what the signs there said, if you want people to know registers are closed or that your supposed to wait you should have the translation to Portuguese on it too, considering it’s the other most popular language here. I still gave a 4 because the customer service is almost always excellent and the store is always kept nice and tidy.”
“In this era of customer service seeming to be more scarce, I was pleased to see Kohl's had plenty of helpful and friendly associates, on the sales floor, in the fitting room area and at the cashier's desk. The store in Walpole is clean. The only thing is sometimes they still out of the size you need and you need to go back or order online to get everything you need. The discounts with the app are helpful as are the ones for cardholders, which are sent by email.”

Here's something I wrote for the Boston Post Rd. Journal (it will be out sometime 3rd week of July for a "Sudbury's best" - we're highlighting gems of Sudbury that give great customer service. This particular shoe store offers an excellent shopping experience for shoe enthusiasts. Their wide selection of footwear, including various brands and styles, ensures that customers can find the perfect pair for any occasion. “Marshall's is great! The one in Fenway closed last year which is sad, but glad to see this Watertown location still going strong! Parking is easy in the free garage at Arsenal yards right across from Marshalls. They have EV charger stations in the garage too. Huge store where you can find everything from clothes to housewares to bath and beauty products to gift items to snacks! All at an everyday affordable price! Great value for sure!! Right now a lot of the holiday glittery shiny clothes are on clearance sale, so I made use of those discounts and got some fun tops and dresses! I loved their dressing room decor with the "Possibly" and "Definitely" hooks and a "Tomorrow" hook as well! And they also had a whole wire rack hanger as well - so kudos for the ample hanging space in the dressing room! Much appreciated especially when you bring in ten things to try on lol! The lady at the dressing room entrance was very friendly and so was the cashier and also another person who was wheeling a cart of clothes past me while I was browsing the racks. Restroom could use some attention and cleaning. Overall, great store with great deals!”

“I always enjoy browsing this store but often don't find much. One exception was when I scored some sweet coolers here at a significant discount off retail over the summer. I find the lighting and "artwork" here kind of tacky and low quality but they have some good functional items for organizing and for laundry as well as festive tableware and cooking items like measuring cups at good prices. Also check the Home Goods in the same plaza if you're looking for something specific.”
“I went into this Nordstrom to get a gift for my girlfriend. Serrenda greeted me at the door with a smile. Serrenda was super professional and knowledgeable about what is in style currently. I asked her about what to get for the gift because I don’t know what girls want. She took me around the whole store and showed me the best stuff that’s in style. ( I told her what her style is ) she showed me the best deals in the store. She took me to the case where all edgy stuff is in it. Here is it I found the best gift. Also it was marked down on top 40 percent extra off. I ended up getting a 3k Chloe bag that was marked down to 400 dollars and 800 dollar Burberry scarf for 140. Definitely ask for Serrenda when you go here and have questions about what’s in style or what to get for gifts”
“I purchase my pine chips here. We use them as kitty litter. Easy to clean box! Big bag cost $6.00. I have also bought clothes and plants here. . I orinciply stay towards the front of the store, but I know they have varied stock. I am sure they might have what you are looking for. Call to make sure.
