After two+ decades with this bank I went in to the Linden Street branch and requested that all of my accounts be closed because I was moving. It was a time consuming effort of redirecting direct deposits, visiting the bank, etc. A month later doing all that I received a letter saying there was a small balance on one of the accounts so I went back in to the bank again and the teller told me that it was a fee they applied in error after I closed the account. She said she fixed it and I now had a zero balance. An inconvenience but she seemed nice and made it right. Two months later I received a collections letter for one of the other accounts, which for some reason had not been closed! I called the manager and told him that I went in months ago requesting to close all my accounts. He looked up my account and after some time finally told me that they hadn't closed one of the accounts (I knew that! It's why I called him!)! He then literally said he didn't think he couldn't help me close the account!! After asking what it would take to close all accounts (for the 15th time!), he finally said he'd look into it and call me back! Still have not heard from him! If you don't like red tape or feeling like a number, stay away!

I am really talking about Citizens bank corporate office, not this branch. The people at the branch have been nice. Someone other than my son withdrew money from an atm and it is taking forever to get this resolved after making many calls. It has been around a month and we have gone to the police station and have done everything they have asked. Citizen's Bank makes it very difficult if not impossible to get your money back from an unauthorized withdrawal.
