I recently purchased a car through Matthews after being sold a lemon by Carmax (and having a horrible time!). Everyone was friendly and helpful, and not pushy. George was communicative and answered all my many questions. Henry really came through for me with financing as well, which was hard to do because of negative equity I had and my budget. Super, super happy with my experience. Shoutout to Joyal on the service team as well- she helped enormously when I was trying to figure out issues with my previous car. Would highly recommend Matthews Nissan

I came in to visit showroom and view vehicles. A few weeks later I made offer over the phone to a manager since the salesperson wasn’t in. He never called me back. Then a week later talked to salesman and made another offer. He also didn’t call me back. When I went to dealerships he said the offer was unrealistic. Since the salesman was new to the business this was all on ownership showing disrespect for me even though I have the means to buy the vehicle.
I wouldn’t recommend Matthew’s to anyone.

Bought my 2023 Sentra from bernardi then it was changed to Mathews. Was told at the time of sales that in the 1st year they will repair dings free as part of their 1st year warranty. I scraped my hub cap after 3 months. Took it back to see if they can buff it or repair. Was told is not warranty because its not metal. 6 months later my car was parked in a parking lot and someone backed into my rear bumper caused a scratch. Took it back to dealer and was told because its scratched through it needs a paint job that's not covered. It's a 2 inch scratch!!! Just beware and have low expectations.

BEWARE UNTRUSTWORTHY UPSELL: Only 1 tire needs replacing. Nissan tried to upsell over $1,000 of work, saying if you replace 1 tire you need to replace them all or else "it could damage the AWD." Then I took the 2015 Rogue to Sullivan Tire and learned that's only if tread differences are big enough to warrant it. Which they are not. Which means they were trying to sell me service that was not necessary. Another dealer disappoints.

My experience at this dealership was very smooth and professional. I worked with Adam who was very welcoming and clear with explaining all of my options. This was my first time financing a car and he gave me tons of reassurance and answered all my questions through the process.

Worked with Matthew’s Nissan of Wellesley for our latest vehicle purchase and they were exceptional. They were able to source the exact colors, all the extras we were looking for and did so in a friendly, service oriented way. Whether it was the salesmen or manager they were all fantastic and I can highly recommend this dealership.

Beware of Deceptive Practices and Poor Post-Sale Service at Assurance Fraud Transcation!
Before making a purchase at Assurance Fraud Transcation, be warned of their deceitful practices and abysmal post-sale service. Initially, I was impressed by their apparent dedication to customer service, but the experience quickly turned sour after the sale was finalized.
During the purchase process, the dealer strongly recommended an assurance package without providing clear details or the total cost. I was assured that the assurance was cancellable within a month without any charges. Trusting their word, I opted for it. However, when I attempted to cancel within the specified timeframe, I encountered numerous obstacles.
Despite the dealer's confirmation of cancellation and the promise of a refund within 8-12 weeks, it has now been six months, and I'm still being charged. Shockingly, when I contacted the assurance company, they claimed the policy was non-cancelable, and the refund process had to be handled by the dealer.
Repeated attempts to reach out to the dealer have been futile. They have conveniently changed their phone number and ignored my emails. I possess a complete email trail and contracts as evidence of this deceptive transaction.
This level of unethical behavior is unacceptable. I am now pursuing legal action and will also involve my bank in resolving this matter. Beware of Assurance Fraud Transcation's misleading tactics and their utter disregard for customer satisfaction.

I am very impressed with Matthew's Nissan. I purchased a car there and I was treated great. I had very little intention of buying there because I purchased the Nissan that I was driving at an excellent Nissan dealership that was in my neighborhood. They always provided great deals, friendly purchasing experiences and a great service department. SonI had my eye on an SUV that I was planning on buying there. I saw that Matthews was taking over the Bernadi Nissan of Wellesley. I saw some special from Matthews really peaked my interest and decided to check them out. My sales person Adam was great. Test drove the car with pleasant conversation and I felt no pressure. The way Adam explained all of the features of of the car and how to utilize them was very informative and impressive. The process was made easy with prices that couldn't be beat and a very friendly management team and finance manager. If you're looking for a no hassle, professional experience at the very best prices, I highly recommend Matthews! Ask for Adam if you like an honest and informative sales person who will help you to learn the car and spend time setting up your phone to Apple/Android Auto, and set you up on the My Nissan app and teach you how to enjoy all of the remote functions from your phone.
Thanks to Adam and the entire staff!

Their team went above and beyond to complete a complex repair in time for a big event for our son. We have been customers for years and always appreciated their honesty and kindness, but this was truly exceptional

My wife and I recently purchased a 2020 preowned car from this dealer and it's such a disappointing experience.
First of all, We were overcharged by a $895 gap insurance initially, until we found it out and called the sales manager. I was told it's a typo.
Secondly, the next day after purchase, we found out that the rear side passenger door didn't work. That window and door didn't react to the key fob and driver side control at all. The speaker on that door didn't work either. Later we found the inside part of the door frame had been opened, leaving some gap there. There is sticky debris around it. We called the dealer. It took us two extra visits (including to use my PTO time) to repair the door by changing a Master switch. We didn't find the door issue in the first place was because the sales person kept saying no car accident history, and he opened that door and sat in the back for our test drive. If no one opened that door using inside manual switch, we would've notice the issue right away and would not even consider buying this car. We also noticed the same sales person didn't go with the test drive with another customer.
Later, we noticed that the back bump has a different color than the left body. After careful inspection, we found that the back bump, and the whole right side car body have a slightly different white color than the left side body and front bump (i.e. white v.s. pearl white). This color difference is mainly on the right side of the car, which is coincident with the rear passenger door issue. We highly suspect this car has been in an accident and done with a major body work and have great concerns about this car's reliability now. We bought this car because we were told no accident on this car at all and the car has been always well serviced by Bernardi group. Because we trusted this dealer and believed what we were told of, which was a big mistake.
After contacting the dealer, the sales manager confessed they already knew the door issue and color re-paint, and admitted that the car has hit a trash can or something. Please note that that's nearly half of the car body was re-painted but still no accident report and still told us no car accident!!! Can you believe that? We strongly feel the sales are hiding the issues and are lacking honesty, transparency and professionalism. Now this dealer is not willing to provide any compensation or solution as they recently changed the ownership. But remember it's the same sales team here with this new ownership!!!

Sent me an advertisement in the mail disguised as an "important" document. Talk about shady. This kinda stint tells me this is the stereotypical dishonest, misleading, scammy dealer I want to avoid. If they have to lie to get you to look at an advertisement what do they do to get you to buy a car?
