My husband is a patient there and most of the staff is really nice. I am rating low though because they have decked the place out full of blatantly Christmas decorations and play nothing but Christmas music and when I mention that they should put up stuff for other holidays like Channukah to be more inclusive, I was told they only put generic stuff up (mind you there is a stocking right next to the manager that says Merry Christmas.

Proceed with caution. The program is fine and does work - BUT this is also a HUGE money grab. They bill insurance for absolutely needless tests and when insurance declines, you are on the hook. They also make you pay BEFORE billing insurance unlike true medical practices. Then once they are reimbursed - they hold your $ as a credit. I never write reviews - but this really is unethical and basically an overpriced / scam-like practice. Also, you can buy ALL their products online for about 60% off. 2 stars because the service isn't bad - just ethics are.

Looks like Christel Backert was the clinic director of Medallion Medical in Modesto. She emailed us on July 29, the owners of Medallion, that she was leaving EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELYII! She shut down the voice mail over at Medallion. When you click on the Medallion Website to make an appointment, you are directed to this Med Weightloss in Lathrop and you hear Christel's voice on her new franchise telephone!! So she is "stealing" patients to her Lathrop clinic and doesn't even know that we knowll She refuses all correspondence except emails regarding her sudden departure after 11+ years at Medallion!! Absolutely unethical behavior on her part!! She also left us with a 3 year lease on the now empty Medallion office ($45,000 to pay off)!!!

Medi Weight Loss in Ballantyne is amazing. The entire staff is friendly and care about each abd every patient. They go over and above to make sure your experience is personal. This program is only one that really works. It completely fits into my life without changing it. Highly recommended.

My friend is a member of a different location, so I figured I'd try it. Watertown location stinks, super tiny, staff is not at all friendly, I was treated like I was inconveniencing them. When I asked how soon I could get started, she laughed and said Not this week! I had an appointment!! They tried to tell me it was going to cost me $118 a week just for the weekly weigh in, my friend who has the exact same insurance plan, we work for the same company, Her plan was MUCH cheaper, I asked why and got attitude, no explanation. Just told me all insurance pays differently even if the same. Yeah, ok. So I signed up at the other location and low and behold... same price as hers. Watertown is its own franchise, and they are ripping people off. Medi weight loss is a great plan, it does work, just do your homework and don't sign up with this location!!
