I have to keep my car insured, and MAPFRE provides this service. If a payment is an hour late, they threaten to cancel the policy. If I want to talk to a live person regarding an issue, I first have to move heaven and hell to prove to the automated system that it can not solve the issue. However, once I do get through to a live service person, they are knowledgeable and helpful.In short, MAPFRE is no better or worse than any other company doing business today.

Tried to rip me off by over $2300 when they declared my vehicle a "total loss". Also they are still trying to bill me for a Policy which was canceled for a vehicle they now own. THIEFS go back to Spain.

AWFUL!!! I had a major flood from a burst pipe in my house. They NEVER paid the flood company or any of the companies that came out to fix things. I have two Liens on my property now thanks to this trash company!

Straight trash, stay away, thank me later. Once you get in an accident, you will realize how bad this company is. The customer service is a joke. They will do monthly withdrawals while your 13 month old accident was never taken care of. It's all about stealing from you. Getting them as car insurance will be one of the worst decisions of your life, remember I said that. They only care about the money.
