“Best one of a kind hardware store in Metro west. Service cannot be better. I find it even better than Harvey’s Hardware that was my go to for over 40 years. A lot of the employees went to Green’s when Harvey’s closed.”

“Most cost-efficient way to purchase that single misplaced socket or to avoid buying an entire new set of tools.I bought only the sizes needed to work with my Honda Civic. Has bins organized so that you’re able to rummage through and find the sizes needed.Owner is a true business man. Respects his inventory, his customers -not afraid to jump in to help you find what you need.My first visit I Left with a basic tool set for $11.00. Well worth the visit.”

“Moved out of the area so I don’t stop by as much. However after trying to have a key made at two other hardware stores with no avail, I found myself back at Town Line. They were attentive and went above and beyond. The Key they made wound up working better than the original key I gave them. They’ve earned my business and the drive.”

“A great family owned business. Excellent service and knowledgeable staff put them head and shoulders above every other hardware store. Since they are affiliated with True Value, the prices are good also as they buy in bulk with the big dogs.”

“Great selection of hardware and an amazingly helpful staff.Wide variety feature some nice luxury brands. Like a jewelry store of hardware. They carry all price points. So nice to see and feel quality differences. Keep stores like this open and don't buy on line.”

“I called early in the morning looking for contractor bags and the gentleman who answer the phone was extremely polite and pleasant. When I got there to pick them up he even remembered it was me on the phone, and was cracking jokes. It was a great way to start the week. Thanks guys!”

“The staff was super helpful. I went in carrying a can of paint that I had found in the basement and needed to match, and instead of selling me something I didn't need, they helped me see that the paint I had was still good and gave me good advice on my patching project. Very nice people who knew what they were doing.”

“The quality of tools has improved tremendously over the last few years and their warranty works well if you are a member of their club. I replaced several items without a receipt no issues.”

“I had a very specific request for a nut and bolt (to fix a blade on my hockey skate) and the staff inside this Ace Hardware store couldn’t have been more helpful. It was a $0.30 fix but the associate, Mark, spent the time with me to make sure that I was all set, found the right size to fit and even helped me fix my skate. If that’s not above and beyond for service I don’t know what is. Thank you!!”

“Not one to write reviews. But Johnstone has been a huge support during this pandemic. When everything else turned into a mess I knew I could count on them. Thanks. Couldn't recommend highly enough.”

“What a store! This is a real American mans heaven on earth. When I die take me to home depot in Marlborough Massachusetts. ELECTRIC! All the wood I could ever ask for and the associates are not handsy or flamboyant. The Johnny Cash flowing over the radio got the mood RIGHT! Not to name names, but this store sure is a lot better than some OTHERS in the area. Gets the night going! I love beer, trucks, women and HOME DEPOT!Could use a store cat, Dale Greenland”

“This is your typical Ace Hardware and it has just about everything that you'll need if you don't wanna have to drive all the way to Home Depot. The people are friendly and the store is clean so I recommend this hardware store.”

“Genalco is a great company to do business with. Quality products in stock and prompt service. We purchase all of our loader and excavator bucket wear parts, as well as rated lifting chains from them with confidence.”

“Great customer service. I had been looking for a specific kind of drain trap and everyone was backordered for weeks. I walked in and the guy behind the counter asked me what I was looking for. He walked me right to the part and handed it to me along with the proper additional things I would need. I highly recommend.”

“A model for what a local hardware store should be. Staffed by a mix of adults who know exactly how to help you. They also employ local kids who are usually pretty helpful, though they are just teenagers so manage your expectations! They are kids working a first job, and I see a lot of people (both in the store and on Yelp) mistake inexperience with rudeness. Selection is good for a local place, though more niche items may require a trip to a larger place. Importantly, they do not carry much of anything in terms of wood and lumber, though they have a decent power tool section, including Craftsman, Milwaukee, and Stihl. Painting, plumbing, hand tools, grilling, house care, yard care, and screws are examples of the areas they cover pretty well. Value is good as well, matching or beating that of places like Lowes or HD, and Ace is a local mainstay.”

“I would like to acknowledge the friendliness, helpfulness and knowledge of the staff at Concord Lumber. Phil D'Angelo went way beyond the call of duty to help me locate the product I requested.”

“I have been a loyal customer for many years. I often go there with a "challenging project", for which there is no product made for the issue that I am trying to resolve. Rather than running the other way when they see me coming, they listen, think about it, (you can see the wheels spinning), and have ALWAYS been successful in finding a solution, sometimes, going as far as even taking the time to modify another item to make it work!! (Thank you, Joe!) Jeanne”

“Mike provides great service for drainage products as well as lumber and materials . They have a wide variety of products for all commercial and residential projects .”

“Sort of disorganized, but display a lot of hardware, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. Really only open to "the trade" but, if you ask politely, they're likely to let you look around.”

“Guys are great. Built a new composite porch and was helped with exactly what I would need. Delivered the material the next day and everything turned out great. Quality of the material was significantly better than what was in stock at the big box stores.”

“While the Watertown store is so much closer for me, it is chaotic in there and West Roxbury is often the same. Since I was in Natick anyhow, I stopped in on a weekday around 10am to get one of those mesh screen door things that you walk through (it actually works, not bad for $15). Masks and sanitizer at the front door for anyone who needs/wants it, and I wandered around looking for the item (for whatever reason, the aisle/bin number wasn't online). After I gave up wandering, I flagged down Bruno who found it for me (thanks Bruno!) and headed to the self checkout. Only negative to the in-store experience was the woman in charge of this area: having someone who is friendly would be a bonus. I can't imagine the parking lot on weekends, so go on a weekday if you can (or right when they open on Saturday and Sunday). The entrance/exit onto Speen St has a traffic light and the Route 30 exit is right-turn only (unless you want to just take a left anyhow). HD stores are dog-friendly as well!!”

“Nice clean store. Great inventory and stock of what you would expect at this store. Location is convenient and there is plenty of free parking available. Nice variety of stores around the area as well.”

“I'm not a plumber, just a guy who lives close to the store and hates Home Depot. The store is really for pros, but when I go in they are still really helpful. I try to go in when it's loaded with plumbers, but as long as I do that and keep the really stupid questions to a minimum they are fantastic to deal with.”
