Could not be happier sending our child to Goddard of Watertown. They have fantastic staff and a great facility, put on fun events, and overall the best daycare we've used without a doubt.

Our daughter attended the Goddard School of Watertown from about a year and a half of age, all the way till start of kindergarten (except COVID times). She spent long hours and the school and had a great experience - made lots of friends and learnt from excellent teachers. The management is very responsive. We are glad we chose this school and if we had to do it all over again - would definitely choose them again.

We had the most wonderful experience at The Goddard School Watertown. Our daughter joined the Infant classroom at 4 months old and at 13 months she moved to their First Steps program. We recently moved and we are so sad to have to leave. As a first time mom I was very apprehensive about sending our daughter to school all day but the staff and teachers made us feel so comfortable. I knew our daughter was happy, safe and loved each day. From the administration team to teacher's in other classrooms - everyone knew our daughter by name. They were so warm and loving to her. Each day our daughter went into school with a smile and a hug for her teachers. The school itself feels new, is incredibly clean, and well taken care of. From the strollers to the play equipment outside we were constantly impressed with the upgrades that were made. Nothing feels worn or overused - which in a daycare setting seems rare. They really have an incredible attention to detail and strong focus on making the curriculum fun and age appropriate. On halloween the staff passed out goody bags - even to the infant room! Each day we saw photos of our daughter playing with new and exciting toys.I truly could go on and on. We absolutely loved our time at The Goddard Watertown, five stars from us!

Not safe for good children. For the last 6 months my daughter was hit, pushed to the ground, scratched on her face (skin was broken but we did not get a simple call – we had to inquire ourselves), punched in the chest so she couldn’t take a breath for a moment – all this by the same boy. During the first couple of conversations that we initiated with the school, the owner didn’t look interested to interfere at all. She agreed to schedule a zoom call with his parents but then decided she will not. Two weeks ago upon pick-up, this boy pushed my daughter, she hit her head at the nearby table and fell on the floor – all in front of my own eyes. I called the office and the owner refused any liability. Not only my child was being abused but the owner showed no care, respect, virtue, anything. The school even failed to follow simple protocol like – provide a written report when the skin is broken, send notices upon teacher changes – the staff turnover is so high that we got notified for probably one third of the changes. Goddard Watertown failed to provide a safe environment for my child and other children in her class.

The good things about the school are the staff and the program. I think they are really capable and are thinking about the kids. However the ownership cannot be trusted for being honest with the parents and objective with all the kids. Our daugther had a problem with a bully and even though we brough up the problem many times, figured that the bully is harassing all the kids in the classroom we had no real explanation what will be done to end this behaviour. We never had the chance to meet the other parents or even discuss what could be the problem and offer solutions. After a few attempts to talk to teachers and the owner about it we got kicked out.

This childcare only wants the perfect child. If your child is hyper-active they will find an excuse to kick them out. Would never recommend this school ever.

Why does the website not have every teacher? EVERY one should be on here, let's not single people out.

The environment is inviting, the lights bright, the classrooms clean and the children are engaged, learning and happy! From the moment you walk into the school, you can tell that this is a special place.Simmi and Sunny are wonderful people with an attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a passion for running a top-notch educational institution. So far, we have been very pleased with the education that our sons (two and four yrs old) have received and would wholeheartedly recommend this daycare to anyone interested looking for a top notch early education for their children!

I went in to get a tour of the school. Spent an hour of my time and then discussed possible program that would be suited for my daughter. They said they would reach out with availability. They Never did! I attempted to reach out multiple times but they never answered me. What a waste of Time. Also the rooms seem very small for the children and the children sleep on these cots during nap time with no padding. Seems for the amount you would pay they could get nicer beds for the children

This is a great daycare with dedicated staff and owners. The owners are responsive, caring, and very warm. Their attention and diligence does make a difference. The facility is immaculate and all the children seem so engaged. Great job!

My 1-year-old daughter joined The Goddard School in Watertown about a month ago and I could not be happier with the experience thus far. I feel completely assured that my daughter is in a safe, caring, loving, fun and educational environment at this school. The owners, staff and teachers are all very capable, thoughtful and personable, which results in a pleasant and nurturing environment from the kids. The facility itself is brand new and state-of-the-art, which I personally love because its super safe, secure, clean, modern and completely child-centric from the playground, the furniture, the kitchen and even down to the door hinges that are baby-proofed. They've thought of everything. Each month, the teachers establish a curriculum for the kids, with weekly themes that are reinforced through all sorts of learning and fun activities. My daughter is exposed so many amazing experiences thanks to this. Even the most mundane object or activity is turned into a fun and exciting learning opportunity.Sunny and Simmi, the owners, are extremely involved with every aspect of the school and this ensures a high standard of management and conduct.Overall, I'm so thankful to have The Goddard School looking after my daughter. She is smiling when I drop her off and smiling when I pick her up - it's the best feeling ever!

Goddard @ Watertown provides an extremely nurturing environment and a strong focus on learning with fun. My 4 year old son loves the school , his teachers and his friends. The teachers keep a calm disposition, which is visible in the classroom dynamics. The owners Simmi and Sunny are extremely diligent and dedicated to the school. They go above and beyond to ensure that a child feels safe and comfortable in the school environment and keep open communication with parents. Since I started sending my son to the school, I have seen him flourish in language, math and social skills. The school has definitely taken one big worry out of my life.

We've had our son at the Goddard in Watertown since he was 3 months old and my daughter joined the Pre-K program for the summer. I have been really impressed with the teachers' abilities to learn my children's names even if they aren't their designated teachers. They always speak and say something nice about my little ones and it's obvious that the owner put a high value on the interaction between the teachers and the families. We've had lots of experience at other daycares. This is one of the best. Sure, the facility is new and well-maintained, but more importantly, they work hard to ensure that our children gain a quality experience. My children's regular teachers are truly wonderful. I've even grown attached to some of the teachers who don't normally teach my children just because of their propensity to say hello and ask how my kids are doing. One of them even helped me on the bus one day when it was very crowded and I had several bags to carry. The owners and management at the Goddard also didn't back down from several challenges that involved one of my children. They kept working and tweaking and communicating with us about the issues we were having and the teachers modified their curriculum and their classroom to suit my child's needs. They were patient as we tried to work through things as well. They made an effort to stabilize the teachers that were in my child's room despite it being summer when many teachers were out for vacation. And the teachers maintained such hope and encouragement when we needed it most. The teachers in the infant classroom have encouraged me to bring the messy food if it helps the little one learn to eat. They foster independence, but provide appropriate support. They suffer through when he fights naps every. single. day and they often get the elusive 2nd nap to happen. Ultimately, it's been an environment where we've seen tremendous growth in both our children.I also really like the curriculum. My oldest comes home and teaches me intricacies of the water cycle, facts about insects and other new info she's learned. My youngest gets exposed to new textures and music and art that helps him grow and develop even though he's just a small infant. I can't say enough wonderful things about the curriculum. It's truly state-of-the-art.The building has great security including multi-factor biometric scanning for entry into the building. There is also a very nice divided playground for the children to use. Even my infant is out on the playground regularly, playing in the water, or just laying in the grass playing with toys.We have also found the owners and management to be willing to listen and take action when we have identified problems or potential problems.I am shocked to read some of what I've seen in the comments, but I had to speak up because our experience has been pretty awesome for our kids.
