We recently moved out of our apartment at Riverbend as we bought our first home together, and it was truly bittersweet deciding to move out! While we are both very excited to own a house that’s ours and begin this new chapter of our lives, we will forever have such fond memories of Riverbend on the Charles and had an absolutely amazing experience with living there. Our apartment at Riverbend was the first place we lived together and having met during the pandemic, we moved in February 2021. From the tour to the move-in, we had very positive experiences with all the staff we interacted with and they made us feel really comfortable throughout the move-in process even during COVID-19 times.
Once we were moved in, we felt right at home. For over 3 years, we loved our warm and welcoming apartment (a large 2 bedroom-2 bathroom unit with a fireplace + balcony overlooking the Charles River). Unlike some other reviewers, we had no issues with noise whatsoever. We loved that we always had peace and quiet in living here, both from the neighbors and the hallways. Sound really didn’t travel into our apartment ever. Our apartment itself was just gorgeous, so sizable (also with barely any dead space in the layout unlike some apartment buildings we initially toured seem to have), and the next tenants will be so lucky to have such an amazing space like we enjoyed for those 3 years!
The building itself is also a really enjoyable space with great amenities - we spent a ton of time using the pool + hot tub and the bbq grills during summer months. The staff is wonderful - huge shoutout to Nicole who was incredibly helpful and accommodating during our move-out process. We actually wish we would’ve met Nicole sooner before our moving out all happened as she is incredibly nice and friendly! She has all the residents’ best interests at heart, and it shows. We truly have nothing bad to say about Riverbend on the Charles. No apartment complex is perfect, but Riverbend sure is close to perfect and it was really a dream for both of us to rent in such a beautiful apartment complex, apartment unit, + location before owning our home. Thank you to Riverbend for all the wonderful memories!

Signing my fourth lease for another year at the Riverbend! I highly recommend this apartment community for many reasons. The manager, Nicole, is very prompt with her responses and helps resolve any issues that may occur with lots of care and attention. All repairs and maintenance requests are very quickly handled. The neighbors are very nice and friendly. The river is literally right outside our windows with a nice path that I walk on every day to stay in shape. There is an amazing garage for parking that is a life saver when it snows. It's also very convenient to Storrow Dr and I-90 for quick trips downtown, to the airport, and college row on the river. This place has continued to check all the boxes for me and what I need for my home comforts. If you are interested, make sure you get in quickly because the units go fast!

Find anywhere else to live in the area. Riverbend outwardly wants to be like them, but is falling apart. No safety, broken locks never fixed, out of date elevator inspections (always), fire has to rescue people that get stuck, maintenance is probably the worst part- you’ll be blamed for a problem and gaslit that there is a problem. Things aren’t repaired, but pieced together with other broken parts. Also, the just started a new payment mandate that requires tenants to allow access to all of their financial information, accounts, history, current like if we’re asking to get a loan to buy a car, taxes, investments- all of it (how is that legal!?) To opt out you have to pay a monthly fee, which I now do. All places have issues, this one seems to be the most problematic after seeing friends live at Gables ect. as I’ve been here.

The condo has very convenient amenities. Very calm and quiet places, including the gym and the co-work area. The service staff respond very fast, and all minor problems were very well addressed. They even changed my dishwasher for a brand-new one when we moved in. The leasing office professionals are very friendly and helped us a lot in our move to the city, considering we just came from another country. The day-to-day support is awesome. Thanks!

We downsized from a small, one-family house and I love apartment living more than I imagined. One bedroom with a den space works perfectly. The building is quiet, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and as a bonus we have a water view of the Charles River. We are looking forward to using the pool and gas grills in the summer.
We can walk to shop and dine, and the Charles River Path provides a relaxing noontime walk or run. Indoor parking keeps our cars safe. Bus service is convenient, and provides a cheap way to get to Cambridge and Boston.
Moving to Riverbend on the Charlies turned out to be a great decision.

I absolutely love living at Riverbend. The staff is always so friendly and eager to help if anything ever comes up. Riverbend has all the amenities you could ask for. The location is perfect for anyone who likes to walk, run or bike since it is right next to the Charles river path. My pup especially appreciates the treat jar in the lobby :)

We love living here. The whole staff (Allison, Ed and Matt) have been wonderful. We recently had a leak in the ceiling. Ed and Matt didn't stop until they knew without a doubt why it was happening so it was fixed properly. I love the fact that they all kept me informed each step of the way. Thank you all!

Having read Laura's review, we couldn't agree more. We've had no complaints after being here for six years. A good example is that we had a job that required drilling into walls. Ed and Matt worked quickly and efficiently, leaving the area spotless! Thanks, Allyson, for making it happen. The outstanding teamwork is another great reason we are so pleased to be living at Riverbend.

We absolutely LOVE living at Riverbend on the Charles! The leasing staff and maintenance team really go above and beyond to create a comfortable and inviting space for residents. Allyson and Dean are super attentive, put incredible care into resident events, and are constantly finding ways to engage our community and improve amenities. We plan to call Riverbend home for quite some time!

Riverbend on the Charles is the best! The location is gorgeous, convenient to everything, and the amenities are awesome. You get the best value for your dollar compared to all of the other luxury buildings in the area .Shout out to the managers, Dean and Allyson, who have done a great job creating community, responding to residents' needs, and just being darn awesome! Ed and Matt take care of all of your repair and apartment needs - usually within 1 hour of putting in a ticket! They go above and beyond.
