Seems my experience is a common trend with this place. To waste as little additional time beyond what I have already done TRYING to work with metropolitan, I’ll just say, disinterested, disrespectful, and total disregard for promised follow up and timelines. Do everyone a favor and just post a sign on your door “all booked up, come back later” until you are able to fulfill a modicum of customer service and follow through (or maybe just hire more people). I’m just glad I clued in before I actually plunked money down. That’s the silver lining to bad customer service I guess! If you need details, just read any one of several other reviews - our experiences are painfully similar. If you believe in trends (we can’t all be “fake ads” as they claim in their “thoughtful” responses) then go elsewhere. There are plenty of more professional and courteous places with equal quality product.

Metropolitan and particularly our sales associate, Beth were very helpful in our exploring, learning and designing the cabinets for our newly renovated kitchen. We were unclear as to what we wanted and Beth led us through the process with patience and taking the time to understand our needs and meshing together those within our budget. Beth also worked very closely with our contractor during the installation.When guests come into our new kitchen, they are very complementary.

I visited Watertown showroom and met with one of the SA there. I literally spent over 3 hours with her going over all the details I wanted in my new kitchen, provided her with the floor plans, and all the information she needed and I explained to her that i am tight with time and needed to speed up things As much as possible. She said she will get back with an estimate in 10 days. And that was it. I didn’t hear back from her, and what made it even worse that I tried to email her many times and tried calling her but I couldn’t get hold of her. I had to go for a different company. And until this day I have heard nothing from her, not even an apology. Which is so disrespectful. I am glad it didn’t go further with this company after my own experience and after reading the negative reviews by other disappointed customers. Save yourself The frustration and go somewhere else.

Good sized place with, apparently, lots of options for my under 25 sq ft counter. But they ushered me out of there very quickly, saying I could only choose one color for the "estimate" that would be sent to me, "in a day or two". Needless to say I haven't heard anything from them nearly a week later. They didn't seem to want my business, maybe the job was too small?

My contractor got our countertops from here, it was a huge mistake. They used non matching pieces of directional stone from different slabs at the *seamed corner (there's the lingo correction for your "fake" review for your toxic, trash company). Dealt with "Brian the owner" trying to remedy it, he was a bipolar nightmare of a person to deal with. Do yourself a favor and use any other company.

Top notch quality and choices. The inset cabinets are gorgeous and it's convenient that they can do custom vanities. We will use them again in the future!

Metropolitan contacted me and now my bathroom is complete but took way too long even during COVID time. Bottom line I am happy with the vanity.

This is the best place to get cabinets in Boston. Great workmanship, materials, and service. I've gotten a few kitchens' worth from them. Just today I picked up an order. When I got there Mora told me she had looked them over, found a dent on one of the doors, already had ordered a replacement, which was ready when I came in. It's tough to express how rare that level of attention to detail is.

We recently bought a home with an older kitchen in need of gut work. Our architect drafted a layout for the kitchen. We brought this layout to Mora Veo at Metropolitan cabinets to order our cabinets. Mora is an amazing kitchen designer! She laid out the cabinets as specified but told us the design was not optimal. She recommended changes to make the space much more functional. This included moving the location of the sink, the kitchen window, the refrigerator and adding a storage cabinet. Mora was tireless in presenting designs to add functionality. There were at least 4-5 iterations of the new design until it met our needs fully. She was very patient and thoughtful during this process. The final design became a roadmap for the contractors working on our kitchen. We tapped copies of the design in the kitchen in case the workmen had any questions. We just love our new kitchen.Mora is an incredible designer and we would recommend her work as well as the quality of Metropolitan cabinets and countertops highly.

I called to make an appointment to come in and order a few basic stock cabinets for my pantry/home office. I explained I have measurements and exact dimensions and my partner will be installing them. I was put on hold for 10 minutes, disconnected and then finally transferred only to be told they cannot talk to me without a contractor. They make it way too difficult to do business with!

If I could give 0 stars, I WOULD! Worst experience ever!! Mora Veo was the consultant that assisted us. We informed her from the beginning we needed our order asap. She continuously lost information, would use her shift availably or daughter as an excuse for why she wasn't available, horrible communication skills, didn't inform us she had lost information that she now had being waiting on, extremely unreliable. When I asked why order hadn't been placed yet she told her boss

They did a great job installing our cabinets and countertops. Our countertop recently chipped (due to the fridge banging into it repeatedly) and someone came into fix it. They came quickly and did an amazing job. The person knew exactly what to do and fixed it so well you would never be able to know it broke in the first place.
