The services provided by my tax professional Igor (Watertown H&R) have been exceptional. He has been very helpful, clear, and professional and went out of his way to help me out even during non-working hours.
The online and app versions can create headache occasionally as the system can be full of multiple glitches including 'account mismatch', 'we will be right back', and 'something went wrong'. If it was not for the extra steps taken by Igor, it would not have been such a smooth experience. The phone communications at this branch can be improved but I WOULD RECOMMEND SENDING MESSAGE through my block. Igor replies fairly fast. No complaints!
The price is fairly reasonable for the number of tax forms I had (around 30) and the return I received but it can/should definitely be lowered for lower returns and smaller number of tax forms.
Overall, 9/10. Highly recommended :-)

By far the worst service I ever received and truly bad customer service and poor communication on this end. I will never use H&R Block ever again based off this service.I filed my taxes over two months ago and did not receive my return just yet, because your system payment messed up saying I did not pay but I provided prof that I paid and it came out of my account.I will now be taking this up the chain because this service is awful and should never be used!

Highly recommend using Igor at the Watertown branch. He's been doing this a long time, knew the answers to all my questions and was very easy to work with. I took off one star because $500+ is way too much money to pay a third party to do your taxes. Especially for those of us under a certain income. Still, Igor is awesome and I'll likely be back as I am every year.

Staff a no-show to two virtual appointments.I made an in-person appointment to have my taxes filed. We were unable to complete the filing in one appointment and I was told a follow-up appointment would be needed. I booked a return virtual appointment for the following week.I arrived on time for the follow-up appointment and waited 15 minutes with no one showing up for the meeting. I sent a message to my tax professional (no response). After five minutes, I called the office directly and was told my tax professional would join the call within 5-10 mins and was running behind. I waited another 10 mins before calling back after no one showed and was told that they needed to cancel. All this after 35-40 mins. I was rescheduled for the following week with a different tax professional.Virtual appointment #2. Same exact experience. Emailed after 15 mins. No response. Called with no answer from the office. Waited 30 mins in total. I ended up having to book another appointment with a different office entirely. Looking at other reviews and talking to others, this seems to have happened with others.

They were much better this time around. Audrey out of Wzltham did my taxes and it was quick, efficient, they respected my time. I would recommend this H&R Block.
