We highly recommend Heal! We’ve had nothing but good experiences bringing our cat here. We’re grateful to know he’s in good hands.

Has the best customer service I've ever experienced with a vet. My cat was recently diagnosed with stage 2 chronic kidney disease. They have been beyond helpful in answering all my questions, telling me which food to switch him to and what care he will need. They turned my panic about this diagnoses to a calm. Really happy I decided to take my cats to this vet. 100% recommend them.

Heal vet has the most compassionate, caring, and attentive staff I have ever met! They saved my cat back in 2021 when no one else could figure out what was wrong with him (it was a liver shunt). I will always bring my pets to them! It is very evident that they all care deeply about us and our pets!

We love, love, love Heal Vet Clinic! After having a disappointing experience at our previous vet, we were recommended to try Heal and I'm so glad we did. They take the time needed to make my puppy feel safe and secure - and that ain't easy at a place where needles and procedures are commonplace. Our puppy is a rescue and extremely anxious in normal situations, let alone vets. He shakes and gets hypervigilant so that any movement becomes a potential threat. The staff are always patient as if they have all the time in the world to get his weight on the scary scales. They are heavy on the treats (which my boy appreciates) and their general lack of haste really reduces the pressure. The exam rooms are warm and friendly feeling too, with couches and pillows. We went recently for a blood draw which took 45 minutes as our puppy was too nervy to cooperate. But they were so unhurried and I never felt rushed. In the end we put a muzzle on him (my suggestion - he doesn't seem to mind it at all and it made ME feel more confident; he's never bitten anyone before) and a towel over his head. We held him while they worked and it was over in seconds. Afterwards, our boy was positively happy to be there! If you have an anxious pup, I would definitely recommend Heal Vet Clinic.

Heal is the best vet practice! I wish they could also be my PCP! The office is so well designed and comfortable, the front desk staff is knowledgeable and friendly at all times, and most importantly the medical care of our dog is top notch. I really appreciate that the follow-up emails after each visit and I never hesitate to ask a question if I have a concern. Our dog is very enthusiastic about his yearly check-ups and any other visits. Can't recommend highly enough!

We bring our two dogs to Heal. We first brought our younger dog about a year and a half ago after hearing how well the team at Heal handles anxious pups, particularly those who struggle with receiving veterinary care. We've been thrilled with the entire team at Heal from those at the front desk to the techs to veterinarians. The visits at Heal are considerably longer, when needed, than what we experienced at our prior vet clinics. Gone are the days of rushed visits. We now feel more like an active member of our dogs' team, partnering with the vet staff. The team at Heal does a great job managing clinic operations. The clinic environment is generally quiet. Gone are the days of having to sit in a crowded waiting room with anxious/stressed animals. Communication via email pre/post visits has been effective and efficient. Communication about pricing has been clear: for more involved visits or visits with procedures, they have sent us cost estimates in advance of the visit, and, at the time of visits, they have reviewed the bill for that day with us.We travel about 30min to get to Heal--instead driving down the road 10min, to our prior vet clinic--because the care at Heal is worth it.

I came here because Broken tail whom we got our car from recommended this vet. They will keep saying they are transparent about the price but they are not. Our first visit we bought a toothbrush and flea treatment. This was the first time we felt some slick sales tactics. It felt like we didn’t even have an option to look shop around, almost forced to buy from there as they just added the price of each on top of the bill and didn’t even offer how much each was going to be. We didn’t find out the price until right before paying for our visit at the very end which is also what happened in the second visit.I didn’t know it will be visiting fee (or annual test) every time we visit the vet even just made an appointment only for a vaccine. Also, the doctor was gentle and nice. But I didn’t see any practical test like eyes(PLR test) and ears( Otoscopic examination) etc, are not included. I paid $90 for this and the entire exam was just sitting and talking to the doctor about our pet. They do have a good attitude but it’s not worth for the price. Overall, the price is shady and service is not worth it because of how they push charges on you. If you come for good attitude and have endless money to spend then this will be a good vet for you. Otherwise, choose wisely.

I will start with my overall impression of visiting here. Let’s be clear guys, you mentioned this in our email and in other reviews but the truth is you are NOT transparent with your prices. Yes you will tell us if we ask but do we need to ask for every single visit? No. Should you say if there will be extra charges for each visit? Yes, because you are the provider and you are the one adding those charges which I didn’t ask for. Do you see what I mean, it’s a more indirect shady way of doing things. They won’t directly rip you off in your face but they will sneakily add things or sell you treats or toothbrush, creams and not even give you the option of getting it somewhere else for cheaper. We felt like this in the first visit, almost as if we had no choice but to buy the extra accessories that they “recommended”. I realize we have the choice to say no but your demeanor of how you push these on to us is a very sleazy sales tactic. So, the number one thing that stood out is their need to charge, upsell, and do anything that can make more money. I guess it’s a business but there is a right and wrong way to go about it. But then more so is how they subtly add on charges in a shady way that feels like, am I here to check on my pet or spend as much as possible? And on top of that was the checkup done even worth the price that was charged? I suppose if it was a complete checkup and if it was mentioned that it would be done then a $90 extra charge might make sense. But telling me that “it’s so regular that our staff may have forgotten to mention because we assumed that it would be fine” is not fine especially when we don’t have pet insurance and we have to come in multiple times a year to checkup, do vaccines, and other possibilities that may occur. The other thing was how they will label charges. We went in for a routine rabies vaccine. We asked the price and it was given. There was no mention of another charge being the “annual checkup” ($90). Then as we emailed about this I got to discover more of the nature of this business. The annual checkup was now referred to as a “visit fee” which makes no sense. Because obviously you can visit more than once a year. But then if on the actual receipt which had listed “annual checkup” where was the visit fee? There was none. So it sounds like some made up BS that the managers don’t even know themselves how to handle. At this point based on the email responses I’m getting all I see is you trying to cover up and seem like it’s not your fault, and like we’re supposed to be some naive idiots who just go along with what you say. And you cannot even admit that you’re wrong. So here I say good luck and we will be taking our business elsewhere.

I've taken my dogs and cats to over half a dozen vets over 35+ years in the Boston and Metro-West areas, and Heal beats them all. Big fan!
