I can't believe mandatory full service station still exist until yesterday. When I got off my car and tried to fill my car up, this Indian guy wearing the "bp" uniform insisted that he fills the car for me. I told him that not only did I not see "full service" sign anywhere in the station, there are four pumps in total so there is gotta be one in which customers can just help themselves. He insisted that all four has pumps are full service only, and blocked my credit card repeatedly when I tried to insert it into one of the stations. In the end, I decided to leave and go to another station nearby instead. I'm not sure if this is a station specific policy or if this specific individual just wants to get tipped, but the experience was honestly bizarre. Forcing the full service during the time of covid when the entire station is empty is quite absurd. I understand there are full service stations in the state of New Jersey and maybe in the town of Weymouth, but this is Watertown in MA. I've never had someone forcing the full service in the years I've lived in MA. It was honestly one of the most ridiculous experience I have had at a gas station period. And I do not recommend anyone who does not want others touching their car to go to this location.

For many years (ca 10) I went to this Service Station for the yearly inspection of our VWGolf and was always politely and prompt serviced. If a repair was necessary I had the same car serviced and was always met politely and the work was done professionally by Max. This year because of COVID we are not in the US and I hope to meet Max when we return Spring 2021 and he can get the car going again. A good and Happy New Year to all in the Galen Street Service Station from Martina

Don't go here for an inspection. They failed my car with a safety violation because they claimed that all my wipers were streaking, when they really were not. After saying they could replace them on the spot, they didn't have the right ones, so I had to get wipers from the dealer for $50 to be able to drive my car again.

Full service prices without the full service. I filled up my SUV and asked to have my windows squeejied following a big snow storm. After lots of hesitation the manager made a half hearted effort to clean my back window. No soapy water available. I guess I have an old fashioned view of Full Service
