The cramped little showroom at the back of the fabric store does not matter to me in the slightest. What matters is the superior bedding they sell. At last, the best, most amazingly comfortable, supportive mattress I have ever owned (going on 8? years now) And, it is free of chemicals, I wouldn't sleep on another mattress is someone gave it to me. Wonderful pillows and wool mattress covers. Barry was pleasant, knowledgeable and truly believes in what he sells. He provided excellent service before and after our purchase...and then during our next purchase...and then our friend's purchase after she tried out ours. Ok, take a star off if you want a fancy showroom but whatever you do try out these mattresses before you go buy one of these other toxic foam/latex mattresses.

Skeptical that I could ever find a chemical-free bed, I visited Furnature after finding them on the web. I was warmly welcomed and took up way too much of Barry's time, both in the showroom and for a few weeks afterward on the phone. Eventually he ordered me a bed from one of his manufacturers in Maine. It arrived at my house well ahead of schedule, was, as Barry had promised, relatively easy to assemble, and I was able to sleep on it that first night. Miraculous for someone with chemical sensitivity! Barry was consistently professional, courteous, patient and precise throughout my experience and I heartily recommend Furnature to all.

I had the exact opposite experience from the other reviewer. Like JL, I went to Furnature because I was interested in the Savvy Rest bed. It seems like most of their business is in making custom furniture, but they have a back room with a bunch of Savvy Rest and other mattresses. The owner, Barry, is nice and very knowledgeable. His approach was very low-key and low-pressure, which was a breath of fresh air compared to the other mattress salespeople I've experienced. The mattresses were clean and organized, as you'd find in any other mattress store. I'm very happy with the mattress, and was very happy with the whole shopping experience.

They are the only Savvy Rest dealer in Mass. and they do a poor job of representing the company. The mattresses are in a dirty, disorganized room in the back of their fabric store and you would never know it was there unless you had done prior research and asked around. One of the gentlemen you might deal with is tough to deal with - he doesn't communicate well over e-mail and leaves no forwarding information when he goes on vacation. If you try to call Furnature, someone will pick up about 30% of the time. The rest of the time, your call will go to a voicemail box that is full so you cannot even leave a message! Too bad these are the only guys who carry Savvy Rest otherwise, I would have taken my business elsewhere long ago.
