Coolidge Hardware is our go to place when we want professional service and need high quality products. We have been going to Coolidge Hardware for over 30 years for high quality paint, paint brushes, hardware (screws, locks, keys...) and advice. I once brought a small chip off of an old wall we were repairing, and they were able to match the paint EXACTLY. Always professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful!

Had two keys made this afternoon. Technician did not make them properly. Keys did not fit my locks. I returned to the store right at 5 PM and they were already shut down for the day. The posted hours stated that they closed at 5 PM. I saw workers inside and tried knocking on the window and calling on the phone. I know they heard me and heard the phone ringing but did not answer. I walked away and ran into the three workers as they were exiting the back door. I saw the technician who made my keys and told him that the keys did not work properly. I asked if there was anyway they could just fix my keys before leaving for the day. All three workers refused and told me to come back tomorrow. I told them that I live out of town. This store is an hour and a half away from me. I will not be back in the area for at least another month. They still told me that they could not do anything until tomorrow. How upsetting! It was their error. Clearly these three men were not the owners. This store has been around a long time, and any chance that I get I try to work with local businesses. Gone are the days of a little extra service, or even conscientious work, especially when it comes to correcting their errors. I guess I should have given my business to Home Depot.

Super helpful staff; honest and knowledgeable. Did a great job guiding me about paint/brushes/etc., even (twice) in cases where I ended up spending less money based on their advice.

This is a good local hardware store. They have pretty much everything you need and knowledgeable people there to talk to. They're especially known for their paint and paint services. So if you're doing any painting definitely good place to go.

It's hard to find window shades it will take the brackets of the old ones. Coolidge hardware still has the window shades that will fit the old brackets. Home Depot window shades are a whole new setup not worth buying

I work here. We have a large selection of products. Pricing on many items are cheaper than large chain stores. I retired but it is a great business. Benjamin Moore paints are excellent and staff are great at matching colors!

Let me start by saying that I have always gone to local hardware stores for all my needs and have never had a problem, besides in this location. My father came here to get a couple cans of paint and when he got home, he saw one of the cans was not sealed which ended up in us losing a can of paint. I went back to the store for him to let them know what happened and asked if I could have another can. He said yes and mixed it. He said nothing to me about paying for another one until he followed me to the front and told me i had to pay as i was walking out. He stated that the mixing machine is so air tight that there is no way the can opened unless my dad threw the box of cans in the car and it popped open. He also stated he walked my dad to the car but did not put the box in his car for him (guy in the paint section) I asked to talk to management and he proceeded to tell me the same thing and they would not give me a new can due to my father possibly throwing the cans in the car. My father then told me that the cashier in the front brought the box out for him and put it in the trunk. I went back in, verified with the cashier (who stated he nicely put it in the trunk and my father said the same) and I got a new can of paint. I am not one to write bad reviews but this rubbed me the wrong way and they were so dishonest it came off shady. Instead of asking the cashier if he assisted my father, and saving me over 30 minutes of my time, he decided to lie just to save the company a couple bucks and not possibly get in trouble. Not only did I have to basically beg for them to right their wrong but my father has paint all over his car and we have to pay for it to be cleaned and have mats replaced. I will never visit this dishonest location again.
