Absolutely the best place to take your car to. They really make sure everything is up to par and Joe is one of the most accommodating people I've ever met- they aren't open on Saturdays but he made arrangements and had someone at the shop on a Saturday morning so I could drop my car off- and just SO kind! 100% recommend to anyone :)

BWT HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Great to work with! They performed a diagnostic on a shuddering truck recently purchased. They are well experienced technicians from the recents I had from them. Truck had to be repaired from dealer due to Lemon law. But they even made it easy rushing in traffic to try to make a payment to release truck… conveniently did it all over phone and didn’t even have to stop by. Straight to the point this business took care of me and my truck brought my transmission back to new for a absolutely fair price. I was quoted high and low for the job from many other shops but I chose this shop because it stood out in the best ways. I meet the owner as I was searching shops for quotes and stopped by early (9am roughly) met the owner, he had me feeling comfortable for he is a friendly guy. I told him how I have a 2018 Chevy Silverado with a messed up transmission he told me that he's very familiar with the brand and the showed that he's definitely knowledgeable and confident which other shops happen to lack. He on the spot quoted me for the best possible opinion with my truck's condition I liked that he mentioned a 3 year warranty on parts and labor for the job. He insured me that the truck would come in and would be done a week from the day I leave my truck. The price was absolutely reasonable for the hefty work load (5k). I had went to other shops they said they could try and address the issue directly and I could spend less but those people lack confidence in the work they happen to mention that they have only done one other Chevy prior and that it was difficult they lost me at that point. I have spoken to the dealership and they nearly quoted me for double the price with no close date or availability. This shops was the best bang for my buck the reviews brought me and and they absolutely delivered. I have been driving my truck daily since for a little over a week now and not a hiccup or tick or leak in sight they really did there thing. They was punctual on the timing and they know what there doing which is key in a highly sensitive job like this, price was good, owners a cool guy as well, the warranty is amazing. I can't figure out what more you would want from a shop. I'll be back for more work I trust them with my vehicle which personal friends know that's not common for me to trust a shop with my cars or truck

Everything you've heard about Joe and his business is totally true, whether it be from Yelp or Google Reviews!I first went to his shop in 2016 for a rebuilt transmission on a Honda Odyssey, and last week I brought my Volkswagen in for work. Once again, I left feeling confident in the quality of the work. This guy is legit - he's honest, transparent, and just really good at what he does. In 2016 he took the time to answer all my questions and show me the inside of a transmission and the parts he uses. He goes above and beyond for his customers and really knows his stuff.I am particularly impressed with how Joe has established his car care business on the foundation of honesty. From my previous experiences, I have found that achieving this level of honesty is not always a common occurrence. However, Joe has demonstrated an ability to make honesty work in his favor, and customers have taken note of it, resulting in their appreciation and loyalty. It's a pretty cool and thoughtful business strategy.It was his father's shop (or may still be I'm not sure) prior to him managing it and I'm guessing his father was a pretty good guy too. It's nice to find these neighborhood owner/operated shops that do amazing work!Their name is Belmont Transmission but he and his staff can handle anything you throw their way that has to do with cars. This is the best car shop I have ever been to. Honest guy, knows exactly what he is doing and doesn't try to rip you off your money. Do not think it twice and if you have car problems take it here 100% recomended.

After getting my transmission fixed here I gotta say it was definitely worth the long drive from Brockton. I'm making this place my primary mechanic! Communication and turn-around time was faaaar better here than at AAMCO's or any other big shady franchise. Trust the mom and pop shops for their great service!Thanks Joe and the gentleman that worked on my car! I'm coming to you again, this time for my suspension!

Joe and his team were fantastic to work with! Flexible drop-off and pick-up, pricing for the transmission was way better than other local shops, and he worked with me on timing of payment. A small Christmas miracle running into the guys at Belmont Watertown Transmissions! After visiting 3 tire places for an emergency repair of what was likely a nail or some kind of puncture in my tire, they came to my rescue. All tire places were so booked they couldn't assist with my tire for another 1-2 days. I was only in town for work with a full day scheduled ahead, and was debating my options. The gentleman at Belmont Transmissions said they could help and could take a look at it right away. Sure enough they took the car right in, and found a razor blade in the tire tread! They patched it up quickly, filled all the tires, and I was good to go. It held up for a full day of visits in Boston, and a 2hr drive home. Still holding fine today as well. They helped restore my faith in honest, first-rate tradesmen (and people) in the world. I would recommend them highly for any car service needed! THANK YOU!

I took my 2011 Rogue in for a rear differential issue which as I assumed was going to cost a lot. Joe found a few other small issues that 3 other mechanics missed and were all unable to diagnose the issue. He was upfront about the cost to repair vs sell and didn't try to take me for a repair that would have cost almost 2/3 the cost of the car. I appreciated his integrity and honesty and For any future issues I'm 100% coming back

Most of the reviews here were 5 stars so I decided to check this guy out. Left the car with him for the whole day from 7am and went to collect at 4pm. The owner still hadnt look at the car- Owner charged me over $100 dollars to look at the car 4,20pm claiming he looked over the car and he had no idea the condition of the car or what was wrong with the transmission, Looks like all the bad reviews for the transmission had been removed to make it look like a 5 star place, In my years i have never given anyone 1 star for service but this would be a first- use this shop at your own risk

Everyone was very friendly,professional and upfront, from the office staff to the mechanics. They did an outstanding job with my oil service and even took care of adding air to my tires. The work was completed in no time, at a reasonable price. B.W.T.. is a must for auto repair in the Belmont/Watertown area. /

My engine was misfiring and I thought it was due to the transmission. Was able to get it in within a day and fixed the next. Joe was awesome, super transparent about everything, awesome communicator and answered all questions. He even did additional research. Awesome place, highly recommend for any type of service.
