The Armenian Museum is an important cultural institution and a great way to spend an afternoon learning about one of the world’s oldest civilizations. The museum is beautiful and modern inside. It is very well organized with informative and engaging exhibits across four floors with a large and varied collection that ranges from prehistoric artifacts, books and manuscripts, coins, jewelry, everyday items such as musical instruments, household goods and clothing, to modern day art highlighting the unique history of Armenia and contributions of Armenians worldwide. The exhibit on the second floor on the Armenian Genocide is a heartbreaking must-see. There are also several interactive stations as well as online exhibits accessible from home.Museum parking is available in a lot behind the museum. Entry fees are very reasonable with discounts for seniors and children available. The museum has exhibits on several floors and an elevator is available. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. A lovely gift shop is also located on the first floor with unique finds such as Armenian cookbooks, children’s books and games in Armenian, and jewelry. Highly recommend making the Armenian Museum of America a stop on your Boston area itinerary.

Housed in a 1970's style building on the main street of Watertown, this museum is focused on the Armenian diaspora and the current country of Armenia (next to Turkey). It has exhibits that ranges from ancient religious relics to modern day. Occupying 3 floors, the museum is open from Thursday to Sundays. Staff members are very friendly and give a quick overview of all the exhibits on display. Bathroom are clean and updated. Expect about 1 to 1.5 hours to see the entire museum. Cost is $15 for adults or free admission from the Watertown library pass.

The staff are very helpful and accommodating. They helped us with our baby stroller and everything. The exhibits are very diverse, from art, textiles, and jewelry to books, bookbinding, and swords. It also brings attention to the Armenian Genocide committed by Turkey which everyone should know about. Highly recommend to anyone interested in the history of Armenia and its people!

Spent a couple of hours taking in the variety of exhibits this museum had to offer. There is historic art on the first floor, information regarding the genocide on the second floor, and even modern art pieces on the third floor. This museum is great for folks who enjoy history, traditional Armenian art, and modern art. I easily found free parking around the block from the museum in a residential street. Highly recommended.

Great museum! The staff was very friendly. Exhibits show the history and art of Armenia through the centuries, and one of the numerous brutal genocides committed by Turkey during the last century.
