Had to have a transfer case swapped on a Cayenne and it was done in under 24 hrs once in the shop. Now I'm having the front diff done, as it was pointed out that it needs it, and it did. (See, I was told it was going to happen,.. and it did, so I am taking responsibility for my own actions here) Keep note his is a busy shop and wait times may be an issue. I noticed the bad customer reviews related to the woman who (had) worked there are now no longer valid as she is gone. The owner ..DOES.. know his stuff and will resolve issues if advice is ..properly.. followed. (some of the bad reviews pertain to not doing the full recommendation, and attempting to cheap out, by skipping replacing those related parts,.. so take that for what it is.)Service: Transmission repair

Owner was there on site helping me right away. He took the time to thoroughly troubleshoot the issue, checking the fluids, running the vehicle and performing tests, as well as taking the vehicle for a test ride. The problem was quickly diagnosed and explained.

I brought my truck there for a shifting issue, he diagnosed the issue and had it repaired in 3 days. The price for the repair was reasonable with the worked that was needed. Scags does more than just transmission work, he has replaced suspension parts in my truck and has done engine work. The customer service is great letting you know when your vehicle is fixed, and if the have found something that needs attention. This is the only shop I bring my vehicles to and I refer all friends and family to him.

I wish I could give ZERO stars for this place. My first complaint is I drop my car off to get looked at on Monday and didn't receive a call back until Thursday night! Second is although I knew they'd probably charge to look at it that was never stated because I explained to the man I had already had it diagnosed but they couldn't do the repair. So I get a call saying my this is bad and I need a whole new tranny and they want to charge outrageous amount to fix my issues. I politely tell the women Gina that called me I respect their diagnosis but I'm going to go with what the other mechanic told me. She begins to tell me in so many words that I'm wrong their right and my car is junk anyways. Then she tells me well if we don't fix it you owe us 88 for looking at it and continues to tell me why the other mechanic were wrong. All in all HORRIBLE customer service and I will NEVER recommend this place.
