All appointments are subject to a full charge for unforeseen delays or mistakes for missing an appointment, without flexibility to waive the charge to rebook! Although it’s stated in the booking agreement, really unfortunate that the policy prioritizes charging their clients full price for services for a missed appointment than managing a relationship with their clients.
I recently had an appointment for a haircut that I completely missed in my calendar (an honest mistake), when I received a call from the salon almost an hour past my appointment time. There was no flexibility to waive the appointment fee if I rebooked or interest in accommodating a change without a fee. Unfortunately I was charged full payment for the services (haircut + blow dry), so I was out $99 for services that I did not receive. There was no timely call from the salon 10-15 minutes into the appointment, they waited until the end of the hour to give me a call. There was no flexibility to waive the fee if I rebooked.
Obviously there is more priority given to a policy about giving notice for being late than managing client relationships. Therefore, I will not continue to bring my business to this salon & for anyone with a busy schedule beware!

My sister and I decided we could cut my hair to save some money. Well, it didn’t go as planned. I ended up with a very lopsided bob. I called Astante the next morning to see if they could get me in to fix the mess we had made. They didn’t have any open appointments, but they fit me in anyway! Gina was amazing and made my hair so cute. She was so kind and fun to talk to as well. I highly recommend Astante if you’re looking for a salon or if you need to fix a dumpster-fire of a haircut.

I don't gush about hair stylists usually, but Gina is amazing. This was probably one of the best experiences I had. The way she massages your scalp during the wash. She's also just so easy going and relaxing to talk to. Hair cut was exactly what I wanted. Blow out was beautiful. If you need a nice haircut and an amazing experience, Gina is your lady!

Came here for the first time yesterday to see Katherine for a simple trim. First, the salon is gorgeous. Second, She is awesome! I hadn’t gotten my haircut in 8 months and she made it look so healthy! Super informative & did an amazing job. They have a free parking lot in the back. Will absolutely be back to get my balayage maintained.

Sarah did a wonderful job with my haircut and blow dry. She really took the time to listen to what I want and cut my hair carefully while paying attention to the details. I loved that she used a wooden boar bristle round brush while blow drying, it was much gentler on my hair. She's so friendly too! I highly recommend.

Best highlights, color, haircut and styling around. I am a longtime client of Katie at Salon Astante, this is the only place I go for my hair. I love getting my hair cut and styled here and always feel like a million bucks when I walk out the door.

We are living in the time of the Covid-19 virus and this salon takes no precautions moreover I reported it to the board of health. From out of town, I wanted a trim. A trim with no wash plus an eyebrow wax cost $95. Ridiculous. But worse, the stylist said "oh this brush only has my hair in it". I said "no". She got a new one. None of the combs were in the blue disinfectant. I person who did my eyebrows did not assure me that the materials used were clean and the utensils disinfected. I will never go to this place again. It is unlikely since I live in California but just the same, shame on these people!
