I figured going to my bank to get a debt consolidation loan would be a good idea. Boy was I wrong. Originally when I called I was told by the rep that loans were around 10% which is decent for this type of loan. Finally after requesting documents for 3 weeks straight, not returning my calls and ONLY communicating via email, the offer I received was dismal. 16.9% interest on 25k would take longer to pay back than to just make my monthly minimum cc payments. Extremely misleading and I will not be banking with RTN/MCVU moving forward.

Ibeth, the branch manager in Waltham, was truly exceptional in assisting me with my loan issues. Her dedication and expertise shone through as she patiently went over the numbers with me during my three visits to the branch. Thanks to her, the discrepancy was identified and soon resolved. I am incredibly grateful for her outstanding support and professionalism. She made a daunting process much smoother, and I couldn't have asked for better help.

I have given 5 stars we shall see. I applied for car loan 2 days ago and have been a customer for more than 7 years now. I have checking and savings,Overdraft protection loam and a RTN credit card $3000 limit,$750 on Overdraft allowed.All my accounts are in good standing except 1 late payment from 2019 ,Less than 30 days late. I belive the payment was for $15 and was a era on my behalf,Didn't hit send properly at payment online center. I've sent letters apologizing/ asking for forgiveness,I've heard some banks do that,RTN doesn't allow removals I was told of any kind. 3 letters I've sent and tried show I was a loyal good customer.The person that processed my loan in Waltham was Daniel Ignacio,He was awsome did a great/ Professional job,Seriously new his the entire application steps. Very smooth,Thank you Daniel.

I see why people give this place 1 star. Ran my credit twice for no reason.The people here have no idea what they are talking about either. They will waste your time and think nothing of it.

Having been a member for 30 years I was so disappointed with the service and misinformation when I needed help from RTN. I made more than 10 calls to various listed telephone numbers and each time got v-mail or disconnected. Had property damage from broken pipe, and RTN would not let me have the funds from the insurance check. Have a HELOC and need to "protect their interest " and ensure the work is done, but intrestingly the primary mortgage holder and insurnace company had no problem entrusting me. Service has gone down hill with each merger that's supposed to better serve the members. Stay away.

I have been a customer with rtn for over 8 years. I have checking's and savings overdraft protection and a credit card all good standing, in April 2019 I made 1 mistake missed a $9 payment to overdraft.rtn has been reporting this as late payment to all the credit aggencies killing my credit score/ have written letters /spoke customer service all with no answers.I spoke bank today we see what happens,I will use my other bank Rockland for loan in future if rtn doesn't help me. Kinda disappointed

Doing business with these creatures was the worst decision I have ever made. They will outright lie to you and fabricate false information. Around October 4th, they reported my loan as 30+ days delinquent when I was paying on time. When I brought this to their attention they straight up lied to me that they never reported me delinquent despite me providing them with the credit report stating they had done so. They then reported me delinquent for the next two consecutive months. I had a back-and-forth email and phone call chain with them and they kept saying I was delinquent on my payment Oct 15th and Nov 15th payments. However I was never late on either of these payments and they had already reported me as delinquent prior to those months. I had brought this up to multiple people at this organization and every single one refused to help me despite being provided with evidence that they were lying to me and payment history showing I was never late. These people deserve to be in prison or worse. Do not give them your business.

horrible service. no human contact at a branch. customer service could not locate my account. all i wanted was my tax documents. a phone call could noy help. Obtaining the information through online e-documents - -still no account listed. Been a member for over 30 years and the service is POOR at best.

I can’t stand this bank . It’s a bank they deposit and dispense money . Don’t ask for dominations of bills because they never have what you ask for . Like it’s a bank aren’t you supposed to have different dominations of bills . Like dam. Definitely going to another bank . Cancelling this shitt.

Our on-site branch is only open one day a week now and was closed for most of the COVID Pandemic. Since re-opening from 5 days a week prior to Covid to only one day a week hour 9:00 Am to 2:30 PM, they never open on time and in some cases don't open at all on the one day a week they say they will be open without any type of notification. Then when they do open LATE if you show up at 2:25 to make a transaction they tell you they can't that they have closed and are cashing out. Very very poor service, people wait all week to do their banking on this one day and they can't even open on time and support the full hours.

I was a few days late on a loan payment so they marked me as 30-60 days late, dinged my credit rating and the credit rating of my cosigner, and sent me to collections as a "serious collections problem". They acknowledged this was wrong in writing and did absolutely noting to correct it, and then even did the same exact thing the following month. Doing business with RTN has caused me untold damage financially and I am still trying to recover from them. My advice to you is stay far far away.

I have been a member of RTN for about 40 years and in the last 2 months my account has been hacked 4 times. I am no longer comfortable with RTN and feel their security is non existent. Time to go to a reputable bank.

Do NOT use RTN credit union. Worst customer service possible. I was laughed at by one of the customer service representatives because I did not remember the name of the other representative I was speaking with earlier in the day. She asked why I was calling her phone number, and I said that I called the main line and asked to speak to a representative. Completely unprofessional. This bank is stuck in the 1970s. The online mobile banking is so outdated and really difficult to navigate. I can't get an e-statement of my accounts which I think is absolutely ridiculous. This bank is the worst and I am closing my accounts immediately after my recent interactions with them. I have called the main line multiple times and can never get through to anyone, they always put me on hold and never call me back. I have never seen anything like this place.
