Fire Yolanda the dispatch, she is rude she lies on the drivers who are constantly running late, she's disrespectful to the elderly and disabled. The drivers are all haitian....where's the diversity???.. it seems they only hire haitians!!!.. the cars are super filthy and repulsive, germs everywhere, they never clean the cars or vans, the drivers say the company wants to cut costs so they never clean the vehicles they transport the elderly and disabled!!!!!!.. how dispicable is that?.. I'm surprised no one has sued them for negligence as yet...wouldn't be surprised!!.. the governor of M assachusetts and channel 7 news needs to know about this immediately!!.. this should be brought to the attention of the higher ups so they can address these very disturbing issues before it's too late!!..

I work at an Oral Surgeons Office and a patient of ours uses THE RIDE as his mode of transportation. The patient came in and had the surgery that he needed and was finally ready to go home. The driver came in and we stated that we needed two minutes to get the patient's things together and give him all the information that he needed. The driver, not saying one word and with a smirk on his face, turned around and walked out of the building. Therefore, one of our nurses guided our disabled patient out to the parking lot where low and behold THE RIDE was gone. We called THE RIDE to find out what happened. Apparently the driver called stating that he waited a "long time" and the dispatcher told him that he was cleared to leave WITHOUT THE PATIENT and without a phone call to the office to see what was happening. Therefore, we have a disabled patient who just had surgery who wants to go home and is stuck in our office without a ride. If that wasn't bad enough we have to pay two of our employees to stay with the patient as they could not send another driver for another hour +. We spoke to Fritz with THE RIDE to find out what went wrong and he was very helpful however we felt we should talk to a manager in hopes to help the patient out a little more. However, when we spoke to the manager who only gave us his first name as "James" was not helpful in any way and did not provide us with any information to help our patient or be able to place a formal complaint on our patient's behalf. The only thing that really gets us is that what if this was your mother, father, sister, brother, grandfather, grandmother or someone else who was important to you. How would you feel if this situation happened to them? Clearly this is a case of discrimination and lack of compassion. This is our hard earned tax dollars at work, ladies and gentleman.

The drivers on the ride are unexperienced and need work on their manners and consideration with their customers. they blast their radio so loud that they their music can be heard out side of the van. The charge a high price, of a 2 dollar services. They never come on time when you need them, but they expect you to tip them. I will never suggest anyone to take this services. until they can train their drivers better, they are wasting tax payers money.

Ask anyone who's ever tried to navigate the MBTA with a broken arm or leg and they'll tell ya, "It ain't easy" Forget trying to get to work in a wheelchair through any popular station or crowded bus. You my friend, only need a doctor's note and you can get "THE RIDE"! The Ride is a subsidized service for those permanently or temporarily disabled. Apply for the ride here: any you'll get $2 DOOR TO DOOR TRANSPORTATION FOR ANY REASON, ANYWHERE IN THE CITY. Ya, there are a few rules, but nothing that you can't handle. Like calling ahead 24 hours. They even have chair-vans and the drivers are awesome. They let you listen to any radio station you want. They drive super safe and fast and are always nice. if they are late, you can call to get live GPS locations and wait-times. so don't worry. apply today!
