The crew at Play It Again Sports here in Waltham are the best. Whether it’s my weekly visit for skate sharpening (fastest in the area) or checking out used hockey skates or sticks, the team is always ready to help and can help make recommendations when I need them.

Night and day difference from the other Play It Again I've been to. These folks don't offer you help when you walk in. Their stock is organized by size. I didn't find what I needed and didn't bother with what I wanted.

I needed a left handed glove for my son’stryouts THAT NIGHT! I called and Elijah was on it and put one behind the counter. I went in the next day and Dan helped me find the appropriate gloveS for him! Every was so helpful I nearly cried bc it is so hard to find lefty hand dominant gloves (catches with the right, throws with the left). You guys are stupendous and amazing and there are no words! You are true super heroes who saved the day! Thank you so much!!!! C is THRILLED and we will definitely be back for “Lefty Lane” which is a brilliant idea! ? Thank you so much from the Grace Family. (My younger son with our haul of gloves forbig brother and himself featured here.)

I hate this place. The manager is such a j**** I went with my kids to get ski equipment. Instead of helping us even after I told them I know nothing, a high schooler pointed to the skis. The manager came over many times to ask me to control my 3 year olds. Did he offer to help my daughter and me learn how to choose equipment? Nope. I told him if someone could help us, I could hold my 3yos hands. He told a high school employee to come over. The kid pointed to the skis again instead of moving and picking out some options for my daughter. I will travel 25 or 30 minutes every time to go to Stoneham or Dedham. I have tried 3 times to like place with a bad experience every single time.
