The pharmacists here are nice, kind and competent. The techs may need some help from the pharmacist sometimes but they are super polite and very patient. Super easy to book vaccines too.

I came after my provider called in a prescription. When I got there, they said they hadn’t listened to their messages and told me they’d listen now. They asked if I had been there before and I hadn’t. They told me to wait around. I figured they would ask for my insurance information but they didn’t. I waited. I came to the front again after 45 mins of waiting (I wasn’t shopping, just sitting there miserable with bronchitis) and they told me they didn’t have a profile for me. I was then asked for my demographic/ insurance info so they could start working on the prescription. Meanwhile, I had been sitting in their chairs the entire time and could have been asked for this info at any point. I know the person saw me there. So I had to wait again for them to actually start working on my rx. ? It makes me sad because CVS on Lexington is chaos these days and I was hoping for a better option.

Decent organic produce selection. More plant-based options would be nice. Self-checkout frustrating become it won't let you put items directly into bags, but staff arrive promptly if you need assistance. The in-store pharmacy is great--the only place that stocks my brand of prescription & are often willing to special order products. Bonus that they have always had TP in stock despite panic buying early on during covid. I wish the store brand bread would reformulate their baking recipes to exclude unspecified "enzymes" & other unnecessary ingredients.

I went here to get a shingles shot and the pharmacist was wonderful and caring. It was very smooth without any bother and I got what I needed without having to inject myself. I would definitely go back here in Waltham.
