I've been a loyal client of Mike for nearly 20 years, starting back in high school. Over these two decades, I've experimented with various hair products, sometimes causing damage to my hair, but I've always turned to Mike to rescue it. His invaluable advice on hair care and recommendations tailored to my face shape have been consistently exceptional. Despite now living almost an hour away, I continue to return for his expertise and outstanding service.

I’ve been going to Mike for haircuts and color for years. He’s been putting up with me since I was in high school. Now, with two tweens of my own and living an hour away, I’m still a loyal client. What I love and keeps me coming back is that he is very honest about the hair process. He does his best to keep the integrity of my hair when I constantly change my hair color. He also listens to exactly how I want my haircut, and tells me what it’ll really look like with my hair texture and shape of my face. I’ve always been happy with the end results. I’ve lost count on how many times people asked me who did my hair. I can’t trust anyone else with my hair, but Mike!

Since 2007, I have always made an effort to get my hair cut by Andre. As the other reviewer wrote, he is a true professional and can figure out exactly how long it's been since the last haircut by examining your hair. I always have an interesting and pleasant conversation with him and it has become a ritual of mine to pay him a visit every 4 to 6 weeks. I cannot think of getting a haircut in any other place, unless I am on an extended business trip and unable to return to Waltham for over two months, which does not happen often.

perfect for me. very professional and friendly hairdresser, takes a lot of time for you to figure out what you really want. Also, whenever you come back again he just asks how long it has been since last time and is able to figure out exactly what he did last time. Then he is able to achieve exactly the same result or knows exactly what you mean by "this time a little longer here...".

I had monday off from work and wanted to get my hair cut. I know a few people who come here and love it. I was looking forward to getting my hair cut by Andre but he doesnt work on mondays. Elisa said i could come in to see her. I was a little hesitant but as soon as i arrived she promptly greeted me. We got caught up in conversation and all of a sudden I was done.... I had a wash cut and blow dry for $35.... Also she introduced side bangs to me which I always wanted to try but was nervous to try out and I now love. The layers she did are perfect and the length too. I went in not entirely sure of what I wanted and she gave me great ideas, and I left with a huge smile. I usually wait to get a hair cut when my hair grows to long to manage but im actually excited and cant wait to go back. Elisa is an amazing hair dresser and she is great company while she does your hair too. And she used some amazing products on my extremly frizzy hair that does wonders for me so if course I ran to Sally hair supplys on river st to get it.... Thanks Elisa!!!!
