Was with them for far too long. Personal taxes for $1,300 and had to pay every year. With my new accountant and pay $200 and get a substantial refund. Glad I switched and wish I had done so sooner

We tried using this group for our personal taxes this year. A friend had used them successfully, and they sounded knowledgable during initial discussions. Unfortunately, we experienced significant issues after that, including missing several pages of charitable donation records that we sent them, delays in communications, drafting our taxes as joint instead of separate (even though they had calculated that separate would be advantageous), and even switching our account information and pin numbers. Really disappointing experience.

For evidence of the thoroughness of this company's ability to make mistakes, these accountants made an error on their own W-9: possibly the simplest form possible. I went through multiple rounds of mistakes on important payroll tax documents for our company. Key issues like required schedules in certain states were left out, key details like name and address were repeatedly done with mistakes - each time a different but important mistake. Perhaps equally as importantly, when we found they made mistakes they would act like it was our mistake and be angry at us for noticing. They invoiced us for time spent correcting their mistakes. Finally, we realized we could use nothing they had given us and we needed to end our working relationship. They insisted that we pay them for both their time spent making mistakes and correcting mistakes, although nothing they had prepared was useful (and working with them was in fact detrimental). We settled on an exorbitant settlement just to end it all. Wouldn't you know that a few months after we paid, they sent us an angry letter saying that we were overdue and didn't recognize that we had settled out until we showed them again our agreement and that they received our payment. Avoid at all costs.
