Terrible experience - don't waste your time. I arrived at my 9:00 appointment today. The manager seemed stressed and told me this job will take 2-3 hours and didn't I have a ride.... I didn't have a ride and was planning to wait with some work. He told me many customers wait at the library. (where is it? Is it on the main road? He says I dunno its THAT way). Ok... I walked down 'there' (35 degrees). Didn't open for another hour. I walked back and waited at my car so I could make phone calls without disturbing the (stressed) guy in the office. 9:45, my car still hadn't been taken in. A very friendly but clearly late employee drives in and goes to take my car. I walk back to the still-closed library. Safelite calls me back because my key fob was not working. I walk back again to hand them the second key. But he wouldn't take it... he tells me because my key FOB wasn't working they would have to reschedule because now there isn't enough time to work on my car with the other customers. (I had been waiting for 55 minutes at this point). Seriously?? This was my third attempt to get my windshield replaced there. They reschedule two other times. The first time they called me fifteen minutes before the scheduled appointment to tell me they need to order the windshield. I have wasted weeks between waiting for these three appointments, meanwhile my windshield crack is growing longer each day. Don't waste your time with this place.

Website claims "we'll fix it fast". However, it's a false claim. They're booking 10 days out, so they are definitely not fastService: Auto windshield repair

Quick Service. Wish they would've picked up the phone when I tried to see if my car was ready but in the end everything worked out.

I tried many times for Safelite to make this right, but they just cant get out of their own way and now I feel like I need to share this story (warning) with others. It was a very simple procedure. A rock went through the rear driver's side glass. Should have been an easy fix. Put a new piece of glass in. August 4: Appointment to fix the glass. Being glass experts, you would think this is easy. Instead, they DESTROY the molding around my window. Its hanging off the car and bent in numerous places. I try to call, but 18 months into COVID and they are using this as an excuse not to staff a call center (more on this later). I am surprised that being focused only on glass repair an inexperienced technician is allowed to do this on their own. I am then forced to schedule a warranty appointment online. August 20: Need to leave work to meet a tech, only for him to confirm that the window was ruined and needs to be replaced. No action taken, promised the part would be in within a week. Wasted my time and car still not fixed. September 2: I need to call Safelite (used the text number) to find out what the plan is. Told they will call back by the 3rd. No call. September 17: I call Safelite again to find out where things are. Am told that they were waiting on the parts (was supposed to be a week) but will be in Monday the 20th and they would call to schedule a visit. No call. No visit. September 26: Still waiting on them to fix their mistake. Conclusion: Safelite should be ashamed of themselves. First, they use COVID as an excuse for shutting down call centers and making it impossible to speak to a human. We are 18 months into the pandemic and every other business has figured this out. You are now using this as an excuse and should be ashamed. Second, customer service is non existent. They are happy to take your money, but if anything goes wrong you need to hunt them down. I am tired of wasting my time with them, especially because this was their mistake. Third, they have an obligation to fix their mistakes in a timely manner. Two months and no resolution is unacceptable. Period. The Department of Justice never should have let this monopoly form. I urge you to use a local glass business if you can find one. Safelite (ultimately owned by D'Ieteren Group SA, a Belgian company) doesn't care about you. Will let you know if/when this is ever resolved.

Left a pile of glass in my driveway before I noticed that my door would not open properly, they had dented my quarter panel installing a windshield. Impossible to get customer support on the phone. Drove to their shop to show them the damage and have heard nothing in the past week

First I got a cracked windshield after a rock hit my windshield. I brought it to these guys and they put a filling in to repair the crack. Three days later, it then expanded. After getting it replaced, my active driving display was not calibrated. It appeared blurry, making driving extremely dangerous and unsafe, thus I had to turn it off. I was told I can come in at any time with no appointment needed, and their doors were locked. I asked someone nearby where they went, they had no idea. Two other folks appeared and were trying to get their windshields repaired. They were as confused as I was. I highly recommend avoiding this place if you are trying to get a quality repair done.Services: Windscreen replacement

We needed Safelite AutoGlass after getting major cracks on our windshield on 93S and they got us in right away, billed our insurance, and finished the job in under one hour! We've used them in the past at 930 Main St in Waltham and are so glad they're there for us!Thanks, Safelite!

Quick, friendly service- I changed my appointment, and I made an error in my request, and they accommodated me with a smile. Hope I won't need another window replaced, but I'll definitely call on them again if I do.

I was impressed with this place. They did an awesome job. Derek called ahead to let me know he was free and I went early which suited both of us. I had my windshield replaced and was out in an hour! I met many happy customers. Derek helped even with calling insurance to sort out payments. Derek makes a great place even greater!
