I was warmly greeted when I came in. The front desk clerk was very pleasant. I was impressed with the room that I got with a king size bed all for about $100 through Expedia. I would definitely recommend someone come while in town. It's accessibility from the highway was good. Had a nice free breakfast selection overall had a nice time here because the room was upgraded and comfortable to stay in unfortunately the only thing that was lacking in the room was a safe room. It came with a mini fridge and microwave and a Keurig machine. It also had a large wardrobe closet, with an ironing board and iron. Ample dressing room, space, a desk, a chase lounge, as well as the king size bed with very comfortable bedding.I was greeted warmly when I entered. The receptionist was very nice. I’m giving this place 5 stars not because it’s an actual 5-star hotel but because cheap but clean and comfortable hotels are like unicorns. If you’re looking for a luxurious stay, look elsewhere. But if you need an affordable hotel in the Boston area where you can sleep comfortably without an Ick Factor, this is your place. Pros: very comfortable beds, clean where it counts, nice staff, nice breakfast, one coin-operated washer and dryer on site, pretty good location, at least 4 restaurants within easy walking distance (Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and a local place literally across the street, plus 2 local trendy place less than a half mile away), 2 Dunkin close by including one in the Shell station on the corner in case you don’t like hotel coffee, and of course, it’s cheap. Also, downtown Waltham is about a 10- minute drive, and there are tons of cool restaurants there. Cons: furniture in the room is dodgy (are those stains, or is that the pattern?) and the entire area outside the hotel smells like natural gas for no apparent reason, so walking outside was unappealing. The hotel itself doesn’t smell great, but it doesn’t smell like mold, Febreze, or mold covered by Febreze, so it’s fine. For the price, we will definitely be back.Food & drinks: Several restaurants and 2 Dunkin’s within walking distance, plus a gas station on the corner.

Spotlessly clean, efficient layout, looks well taken care of. Someone is paying attention to details here. Loved the two types of pillows, "soft" and "firm", for each side of the bed. Highly recommend this place.

We just checked in yesterday, unfortunately we didn’t have any pleasant experience at all!The room they gave us so stinky!!We saw another room , the same!!!!The receptionist who checked us in, not pleasant at all!!!They said they welcome pets, that’s lie!! They treat you so bad when they saw you have a pet!!!Never ever this hotel again!Rooms: Very stinky

Hotel was nice and the staff are friendly. Hotel is dog friendly and they have a small fenced in dog area where they can run off leash. There is a continental breakfast but it was not very impressive. The rooms were clean. The gym is small but has the equipment you need. There is a nice Tavern across the street which had great food.

Had a comfortable and pleasant stay here in August. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Location was convenient to Boston.

On 2 of the 4 days I stayed (12/29/2023 - 1/2/2024) on 12/30/2023 and 1/1/2024, there were false fire alarms in the middle of the night requiring that I dress and go outside. The Fire Department came both nights and said something was wrong with the fire alarm system. If it just happened one night, I would give them the benefit of the doubt but 2 nights shows there is a serious management issue. On my last morning leaving, someone was diagnosing the problem by blowing air from a can of air into every smoke detector. Unbelievable.

Perfectly met our needs for a Mass General visit. Everything about our stay was positive. Beds very comfy, interiors all new and up to date. Thank you for the clean, comfortable, safe facility.

Jordan the night manager is an exceptional person who has created a culture of random acts of kindness thats reflects itself in the way every staff members interacts with customers. Old hotel on the outside, however the rooms are renovated and extremely clean. I have nothing to say on this side. Good location 20 minutes from Boston. Excellent reception service. Lunch is good and there is a nice variety where you can find something to get by with. Keep up the good work.Rooms: Very clean and comfortableFood & drinks: Good choice for lunch however the scrambled eggs are slightly overcooked.
