For the past 6 years Michelle is the only one who cuts my hair. Every visit to her salon is restorative. This past visit I tried her new Head Spa service and was blown away. I came in tired, congested and emotionally worn down. Her space was relaxing and calming from the moment I entered. The entire experience felt designed with me and my needs in mind. From the sounds, the smells and the sensations….it was so luxurious and relaxing. Not only my scalp & hair felt rejuvenated, but all of me felt rejuvenated. It was such a needed bit of care and attention and will now be a regular practice for me when I visit Michelle to get my haircut. Treat yourself to this amazing experience by this talented and phenomenal person. She knows what she’s doing and does it with love.

Has a scalp facial done by Michelle and it was a great experience! She customized her treatments based on my needs and explain what each tool or product did. She is so knowledgeable and helped me understand what my hair/scalp needs. The scalp facial included exfoliation, masks, oils, head massages and more, it was a high quality service. It was super relaxing and my scalp felt so good. 100% recommend!!

I had a scalp facial with Michelle this morning and it was absolutely amazing! I've never experienced anything like it before - it was so relaxing. Michelle used all sorts of oils and masks and gadgets on my head, and she's super knowledgeable about all of it, so I learned a ton about herbs and natural scalp care in the process. My hair is soft and bouncy, and my head feels like a million bucks. Highly HIGHLY recommend this service - get on her waitlist!!Service: Massage

Everyone who knows me knows that Michelle is my hair stylist because every time she freshens up my color and/or cut, I get a million inquiries on who made my hair look so fabulous!!! So no surprise that Michelle is an absolute sorceress of all things hair color and maintenance.Today, though, I experienced her new service for a scalp facial. Let me tell ya, this was one of the most relaxing and sensational couple of hours of my life! Plus, my scalp is feeling healthier than ever and my hair reflects the health with an extra shine and softness. So, what was so great about this scalp facial? This one starts with a nice brush of the roots, where Michelle spent lots of time really loosening things up. Then she mixed a special scalp mask that was perfect for the things I wanted to target with my scalp (like some extra moisture and removal of product buildup). That sat for a while doing it’s thing and then over to the sink I went. At the sink Michelle offered me a (disposable) eye mask, which I accepted. Definitely take the eye mask!!! While I lay comfortably in the relaxing darkness, Michelle worked in additional products to my roots, each one smelling more delicious than the next, and I entered into a complete in-body sensory experience. She brought in tuning forks to use at various points explaining what they helped with: grounding, circulation, calming. I felt my body fade into a complete space of calm. Rounding out the facial was a great hair wash (who doesn’t look having their hair washed?!) inclusive of a scalp massage. When I opened my eyes and took off the eye mask I felt like a new person. I was talking calmer, moving more gently, just overall operating on a different vibration. Michelle finished off the service with a blowout. My hair has never smelled so incredible!!!I typically treat myself to a spa facial for my skin ~ 4x a year. Now that I’ve had a scalp facial, it’s going to be on a similar rotation!! One of the best services I’ve ever received and left me feeling like I just bought myself the absolute best self-care around. Thank you Michelle for helping me end my week and start my weekend in a calm space.*Bonus* if you’re a music lover, Michelle’s playlist is always fire and matches whatever mood we’re playing with. Today’s mix was the perfect soundtrack for the restorative, gentle service I was receiving.

Had the greatest experience for my first time seeing Michelle. I got the signature scalp treatment and it was customized to be exactly what I needed, I left feeling like I had a brand new scalp! It was unlike any service I’d had and Michelle did an amazing job. Will definitely be back.

Katherine is the best! I came in with blond balayage wanting to go back to fully brunette. Katherine did it perfectly and she’s just the sweetest! The salon also has such a cute vibe to it. This will be my new go to salon. Thank you Katherine!!

Michelle is in the top 1 percent of stylists my wife and I have used in our lives. What she can do with simple colors is magical. I love the ambiance of her shop and vibe I get when I go. She is a rock star in her field and puts talent Around her. She is well worth the wait and effort. Don't be fooled by others in the area. She is the real deal.

Luna Locks is a welcoming environment, and very clean. Michelle Selden is very punctual, organized, and tentative to both, my hair and health needs. She is a compassionate person. I become mesmerized with her haircutting techniques, styling, plus she gives a great shampoo!! Relaxes me immediately. Such a great place to feel pampered. No problem finding parking out front too! I really like Katherine. Very sweet and great stylist. I don't always feel "welcome". The owner (Michelle?) has never even once glanced in my direction or greeted me as a client in her salon. This has never been my experience in any full service salon, and makes me feel like an outsider. But, lovely salon, and great service from my stylist, Katherine.Services: Hairstyling
