Update: The real manager of Waltham Costco tire center replied my feedback and apologized for the mistake they made. He also reimbursed my cost. It's nice that it's finally solved.
There is a missing lug nut and a stripped stud on my front left tire after the rotation at Costco tire center in Waltham, MA. I wasn’t notified when the rotation was done. I noticed it in the additional notes on the report after I arrived at home. Today I went to a local auto repair store to have it fixed and the mechanic I’m familiar with told me that it’s very likely that it’s damaged by the electric tool recently. He saw there was even no rust on the damaged part of the stud when they did the work. I called the Costco tire center and the person who took the call and called himself manager didn’t admit it and said there is no way that their tools can damage the lug nut, which is not true. Please be aware that good reputation on Costco doesn’t mean good reputation on a specific Costco tire center.

Tried to call them no one would answer in the tire or admin department and someone in the admin department picked up the phone and then hung it right up....

Very happy with the decision to stop by! -Got an amazing deal on a fresh set of tires, and the installation was completed in less than an hour.

They don't have tires that fit my car, but they refused to install the tires I ordered online. Disgusting "service", worsening every year and now reaching the very bottom. Would not recommend to anyone, avoid!

This is probably one of the busier Costcos I have visited. I went off-hour and the parking lot was packed. The inside was also busy but still penty of room to move. I did self check out the the staff person was friendly and told me I was entitled to another pkg of muffins (score).I was in the area for work.

Good prices. Free rotation and other perks. Go about 20 minutes before they open because they are very busy

I am not from MA, and I had two flat tires. I was towed to this location and at first they said they didn’t have my tires which was soo stressful. I returned to my car to find another place to get tires asap. But after awhile I got no where and then all of a sudden Jerry.. ( I am pretty sure that was his name) asked how I was doing and I told him not good. He looked again for my tire size and found it thankfully. It was over all a great experience and I am so grateful that he had the tire size and went above and beyond to help me. So thank you.

Don, return center, has always comment on Asian customers returning stuff. He uses racial derogatory as well. Management should look into this racist white supremacist low-wage loser.

Great place to inflate your tires as member of Costco. Easy to use and you dial in tire air pressure. It beeps when it reaches the pressure you enter in.

Bought tires, made an appointment, and had them installed ready to go in under an hour. You're able to shop or get food while you wait. Super easy experience!

One of the supervisors is very rude. Also, they make it seem like the membership is easy to cancel. It isn't. If you live far away, don't bother getting one. Prices aren't even that good at all. My parents used to have a Costco membership, and I wasn't informed that the card was cancelled, so I went to buy a few items and had to renew my membership. That's all fine and makes sense. But I wanted to cancel it because I went for a few items, and didn't need to pay $120 a year for a membership, so I looked online to see how I could cancel. Everything said you can call or go online to cancel. That wasn't an option, so I had to go into the store to cancel. I figured while I was there I'd grab TWO items to save me a trip to another store. After I got my items and paid for them, I went to the line (which is behind the checkout anyway) to cancel my membership. I walked up to an Indian woman who was very sweet! But then the supervisor (Matthew maybe?) instantly butted in and was incredibly rude. He asked why I was canceling and I said it was a little far from me and too busy. He told me that usually people aren't allowed to cancel memberships after buying something. Kinda makes sense but the way he said it was very passive aggressive. He then said "why didn't you ever take a picture?" So I explained it was my moms account that I paid to renew and he said she has to come in and cancel. Everything he said makes sense but he was being incredibly rude. I'll tell my mom to go to her nearest Costco and cancel ASAP.

The main attraction of this Costco is the enormous covered parking garage which is nice on a rainy day, but therein lies its main disadvantage: if you park there or in the small uncovered lower level parking area right in front of the garage, in order to get your groceries back to your car you have to push your shopping cart down a wrap-around ramp that pretty much triples the total distance traveled, because Costco does not offer an elevator or shopping cart escalator like Ikea or the Saugus Walmart does. This isn't a problem for any relatively healthy, able bodied person but for an elderly or otherwise physically challenged person it could potentially be a serious PITA. Speaking of shopping carts, another quirk of this place is that you have to pick up one from one of the shopping cart stalls in the parking lot because they don't have rows of carts inside or next to the entrance unlike the Everett Costco. Compared to the Everett Costco, this Waltham location is about 1/2 or at best, 2/3 the size, with maybe half as many checkout lanes. Feels cramped and somewhat claustrophobic, especially during crowded times. Another inconvenient difference is that the alcohol is sold in a small separate area behind the checkout area...so you'd have to check out twice. Lastly, the freeway exit and entrance is a bit difficult to navigate even when using Google Maps GPS.Will be sticking to Everett location, unless it's absolutely pouring outside perhaps.
