This is a great place to get a laptop fixed. Straightforward, fast, and I got my laptop back better than before. Although, you might want to tell him to only fix the things you want fixed. He fixed a couple extra things for free, which was very nice.

I used to fix my computer at backbay, but it did not work. Today, it was black screen all the time. But the store helped me fixed the problem just in 30 mins. Though watching the fixing process, I can tell the problem isn’t hard to fix, just need experienced people to figure it out!

Dave the owner was knowledgeable and readily available when we walked in on a Saturday mid afternoon in September. My HP spectre was not charging and the touch pad was stuck. He diagnosed the charging port was fried, and the battery not working or worth replacing. He will download my data Then I’ll update this review.Dave came through as promised. $70 to back up my computer on a drive.

I had some issues with my desktop PC and David took care of the problem. Also he upgraded my computer and it works way better and faster than before! (The upgrades that David recommended was worth it!) I also had some issues with my Itunes music libary and David took care of that too. David and the Compustar team are truly PC experts and hands down one of the best PC repair shops in the Waltham area! I trust and highly recommened them!

Very good experience getting my laptop fixed by David. Fair price, quick and professional service. My laptop just wasn't booting up at all. David took it and called me back hour with his diagnosis, turns out the battery completely died. He ordered a new one and had it back up and running in 2 days. Much better experience with him than with Best Buy/Geek Squad, price was perfectly fair for the part/labor. Highly recommend him, he's always keeping up to date with the latest hardware so he's at the top of his game.

I visited Compustar for my computer repair today and it was a superb experience. They were kind and friendly. They found the problem in a few minutes and fixed it. The cost was reasonable and generally excellent.

Wow!!! Didn't know places like this still existed. Amazing service. Very personal . Really knowledgeable and very reasonable priced. I doubt I will ever go to places like GeekSquad . Highly recommend .

Bought a couple IMAC computers from the owner. Amazing prices! Great condition machines! Also depending on his inventory at the time usually has great selection of different year, monitor size & few different models with varing internal specifications.Very reasonable pricing when cash in hand.

I highly recommend David. He is brilliant tech guy, economical, and awesome customer service as well. He replaced my failing hard drive and spent the extra time to get a copy of all my data and move it to the new drive. My laptop is soo fast now! Wish I did this before the hard drive failure. Thanks David
