My dog gets extremely anxious with vet appointments. He needs lots of calming meds and a muzzle. The radiologist that took him in for his ultrasound was fantastic! We were unsure our dog would be able to do it given his anxiety but she was able to get it done and he happily came back out to us with her saying he did great. She clearly knew how to meet his needs and was very understanding! Thank you!

The doctor herself was very nice and personable. We got the antibiotics needed. However they took our elderly husky in instead of keeping her with the boarder and my step mother with intensified anxiety and panic. The animal hospitals do this and it’s not the correct system! It’s equivalent to taking a child from their parent for care. They could have medicated our dog with their caretaker there. After speaking to the Md and letting her know we were on our way we executed a plan. They never even gave our dog water while she was there knowing no procedure needed to be done?? This is not ok! She was so thirsty and in pain! We were unable to clean her ear or do anything and it was a $240 visit fee for the hospital to prescribe an antibiotic! We cleaned her ear upon arriving home and put skin glue on and will monitor. Being an Operating Room Nurse pulling out animal from the caregiver needs to change. This is the second hospital that has done this and it creates more anxiety and stress for the animal. I am looking for a resolution for this and compensation since nothing was done at the visit besides obtaining an overpriced dose of antibiotic for $106! The hospital systems need to change.

Genuinely cannot thank the staff at Blue Pearl enough for their compassion and quick care when my cat got very suddenly sick. It was touch and go for a while, but I'm so grateful that they were able to stabilize her and get her on the road to recovery. Two weeks after her stay, and Piper is back to her usual mischief and affection! I'm so very grateful for their expertise and care!

BP Waltham is an incredible emergency vet, I feel so fortunate to live near them! Everyone from the receptionists to the vet techs and veterinarians are so patient and kind, and very good at providing the info you need to make an informed decision about your dog’s health. They will even consult over the phone to help you decide if it makes sense to bring an animal in to be seen. Thank you!

Bad vibes at Blue Pearl. On Tues, Aug 27 into Wed, Aug 28 Dr. Zallas suggested euthanizing our pup without even a proper exam. Felt so wrong. Took our furry friend to Angell where he received love and care. This Blue Pearl's ethics are sketchy; can't recommend or return.

My “GooGoo” was a soulmate in pet form, and he understood me like no other. Our bond transcended words, as he intuitively grasped the depths of my heart. His unwavering presence was a testament to the transformative power of unconditional love. His loss has shattered me, leaving an unfillable void, and plunging me into unfathomable grief. The ache of his absence is unbearable. I cling to his cherished toys and memories, desperate to hold on to the joy he brought. Our home, once filled with laughter, now lies still and empty, a haunting reminder of what's lost. The silence is crushing, devoid of his happy barks, enthusiastic zoomies, and squeaky toys. I pray his spirit returns in another furry form. For now, I'm overwhelmed, unable to consider another pet. My heart remains anchored to our bond. When my own journey ends, his loving gaze will be the first I seek in heaven.
Each glance at my wallpaper serves as a poignant reminder of the tragic loss of my beloved fur baby, who fell victim to the egregious negligence of Alexis Zallas, a veterinarian whose competence and ethics are profoundly questionable. Driven by an unwavering commitment to justice, I have spared no expense in engaging the premier private investigation firm in New England. Their expert team meticulously monitors Zallas, gathering incriminating evidence to present to the District Attorney's office. This will ensure that, when the time is ripe, prosecutorial action may be taken. Due to the constraints of this review platform, I am compelled to allocate a solitary star, an undeserved nod to a business that has demonstrated remarkable inadequacy.
The alarming pattern of harm inflicted by Zallas suggests that my fur baby’s death was not an isolated incident. I fear that, unless she is held accountable, her harmful practices will continue unabated. As an advocate for animal welfare, I urge pet owners to exercise extreme caution and avoid Blue Pearl Waltham, where Zallas remains employed despite her disturbing track record. In fact, I wouldn't trust Alexis Zallas with the care of even the most mundane creatures – not even the hamburgers at Burger King. Her employment in any capacity is a threat to the well-being of innocent lives.
The facility's refusal to terminate her employment, coupled with their willingness to refund grieving pet owners, raises serious concerns about their complicity in Zallas's alleged malfeasance. My fur baby’s memory will serve as a constant reminder of the devastating consequences of Zallas's actions. I vow to ensure that his face haunts her until justice is served, and his legacy inspires meaningful change in the veterinary community.

Took our cat in for an ultrasound. Blue Pearl is easy to get to, clean, and staff were pleasant. Very good experience with scheduling and the appointment happened on time and there was only a short wait. Definitely recommended!

With the tragedy that we had over the weekend, all the staff, all the doctors everybody that works in that building was extremely nice. Extremely helpful kept us informed helped us with information and payments. I cannot say enough about the employees of this ER . I would not go anywhere else for an emergency except for them, I’m extremely grateful that they saved my dogs lives and worked so hard to keep them alive

Take your dog to blue pearl! We had an amazing experience for the two days our dog was there. We brought our dog in at 2am and she was taken immediately. Dr Chalfant was amazing at explaining what she thought was wrong and taking action quickly. Dr Felhofer took over on morning shift each day and was thorough, calm, and compassionate to our dog. They were prompt with updates and always put us through to a vet when we called and asked for an update. The best part was they shared all of the information with our primary vet as it was happening so they stayed informed. Great emergency hospital! Thank you all at blue pearl for taking such good care of our girl!

Our King Charles uncharacteristically wasn't eating and I was out of town. The Blue Pearl doctor graciously ran the appointment with me on speaker phone from Asia and my friend in the office with the dog. The doctor was fabulous. I chose only an xray. The following day the dog was back at Blue Pearl, still not eating. The vet was kind and super competent. The dog had a serious condition that would have killed him within days, and they diagnosed him immediately. He had surgery and all ended well. I am grateful for Blue Pearl's knowledge and kindness. THANK YOU BLUE PEARL!

The doctor was nice but it is double the price at other emergency hospitals. They charge ridiculous amounts to care for the pets. Only one desk staff was nice. The rest were not kind or friendly which would be nice when you are there for an emergency. We left and went to another hospital. The charge was less than half of what we would have paid at Blue Pearl.
